Last Sunday our church held services at Brackenridge Park in San Antonio. It was a beautiful day. We took the fur kids and they were really well behaved. They sat quiet and still for the entire service. It was a great morning but after the sermon we had a picnic. I had a hamburger and half a hot dog and got sick. I forgot my body doesn't process simple carbs very well. I think the white bread got me. It slowed me down and I was pretty much down for the count the rest of the day. It made me frustrated but at least I got to rest. I'll hang on to that sick feeling to remind me why I NEED to eat healthy at ALL times
Before the sermon we walked the dogs so the day wasn't a total fitness DAY lost.

Hi sparkfriends! Things have calmed down some at work so I'm back.
I had kinda of a set back. My arm had opened up again. I just had surgery on it in July. I thought all last week I was just being lazy but it turns out I was getting sick. I have a doctors
appointment on wednesday to try and see if he can fix it. I hope so. I have way too much stuff
to do this October to be sidelined by this.

This week I gained a little but I deserved it. I'd been stress eating. Hopefully this week I can get it under control. It's my first slip up in a while. Possibly a few months.
Have a great October Spark Friends
Work has been really stressful and it isn't going to let up until November! We have an overload of new hires and our auditing workload has increased. I was feeling great till about noon when I started feeling really sick, tired and dizzy. I'm not sure if it's my stress, allergies, anxiety or other health issues but my body basically told me "You need a rest". So I'm not going to fight it. I'm taking a rest day today and possible tomorrow. I've learned to pick my battles when it comes to my body. Sometimes its good to fight back and other times its good to listen to it. Kinda like marriage. LOL!
