HAPPY SATURDAY SPARKPEOPLE!
Sorry to yell but I'm on a high. I got up early on a Saturday to meet my BFF at the gym. (Amazing, I never get up early on Saturdays) My BFF inspires me. She just joined the same gym and my workouts have been rejuvenated. It's Wonderful!
I have 2 NSVs to report as a consequence of this early morning workout:
1) I only had 2 beers last night cause I knew I had to wake up early. As a result I narrowly stayed within my fitbit AND SparkPeople calorie ranges.
2) I fracking woke up at 8 AM to fracking workout....Frack! Something I would have never done before...ever....no you don't understand.....I am anti morning person. I am anti people before 9AM. But I did it and I feel AWESOME! So great in fact we might make it a weekly thing.
So Friends my message today is that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. You CAN change! It doesn't happen over night but it CAN and WILL happen! DON'T GIVE UP! Do get out of your comfort zone! It's nice beyond those boundaries. My comfort zone Saturday mornings was in my bed but I broke free of the sheets. THANK YOU EUNICE FOR THAT PUSH! YOU ROCK BABE!
You ever have one of those days where you just feel like you can't catch up? I've been late for everything today. It's stressful but these things happen regardless of your best efforts. Stress wreaks havoc on my eating habits so today I'm going to take the time to run through some of the ways I like to relieve stress.

My blog title is the reason I avoid buffets and Pot Lucks now.
I don't want to do the walk of shame leaving the restaurant or work place.
I want to do the walk of
I want to Dance the Dance of Victory
I want to do the shimmy of sucess
Let's avoid doing the walk of shame today.
When you feel like falling off the wagon (and it's unplanned), think ahead.
Do you really want to do the walk of shame?
Or do you want to walk with your head held high?
And should you want to indulge, that's ok to. Just plan ahead.
"Make it right, Be Prepared" and if you should fall "Take that walk with pride!"
-Walk of Shame by Jimmy Fallon

No more food guilt!!!!!
There will only be planned walks of awesome!!!!!
My biggest accomplishment so far is walking on my breaks even though I am feeling run down. So far I have 6674 steps in out of 10,000.
I am going to meet a friend at the gym after work. I'll go to the gym with or without mojo today because I've been trying to get this friend to go workout with me for years.
I got caught in a downpour yesterday walking from my office to my car. It was heavy rain. It felt like a water hose was following me. I ran to my car but I was completely soaked down to my undies. My hair was dripping. I had met my brother after work. Thank goodness I had a pair of dry gym clothes in my trunk to change into. It's a real luxury to be able to hang out with my brother because of our schedules. If it had been anyone else id just have gone home. Anyways even with the change of clothes my undies were still soaked along with my socks and shoes. We hung out, went to dinner and then watched the movie Point Break with Riff Trax (Mystery Science Theatre Guys) I think staying in my wet clothes and shoes too long got me sick.
Tomorrow I have scheduled a rest day.
How's everyone doing? Did anyone get rained on as well?
I've been thinking about all the baby steps it's taking to get to where I am and where I want to go. All the ways I've failed and succeeded. A blog I visited today inspired me to write this.
What are some of the baby steps you take every day to contribute to your new healthy life style?
Here are my daily baby steps:
I drink 8 glasses of water a day
I make sure to walk on all my breaks at work
I carry my gym bag in the trunk of my car just in case
I update a music playlist of get going music
I make conscious decisions about what I put into my body
I try to be active for at least 10 minutes a day
What are some of the baby steps you take every day to succeed
And now My Daily Dave Matthews
