Ok so it's the middle of the semester and while I've gained no more than 5 pounds, I'd like it to stop there. So time to reset my habits again! It's not an easy thing to do at school. The "healthy options" here are gigantic salads which look good but they're loaded with fried chicken, cheese, and full fat dressing. more than 600 calories in one of those puppies! A slice of pizza is better than that! My back isn't great, so carrying loads of extra stuff so I can eat better isn't the best option. So I'm going to be packing small, but filling things. I have armed myself with Healthy Choice soups to bring with me. They're loaded with veggies, about 120 calories per container and they're very easy to carry! Meanwhile I'll stay out of the chips and opt for fruit as much as possible. Drinking enough water is easy. I'm a singer. I drink lots during every rehearsal. When I'm too cold for water I go for herbal tea.
There are also these nifty 10 minute exercise videos on this site. I'm going to shoot for one of those a day at least and a walk if the weather allows. So here goes! No more gain and hopefully a tiny bit of loss.
