I am 4evehopeful. Started this process at the heaviest I have ever been in my life - 150 lbs.
Motivation: Want to hit my 50s feeling fun & flirty versus fat & frumpy!
Have kept 10 lbs off that I have lost during the month of January 2010 but it seems like I have been at a standstill since then! I have a reached a plateau and it seems like I have been here forever! Want to break this never ending cycle. Whenever I start to loose a little 5-7 pounds and am within 10 lbs of my goal weight I seem to gain it right back :(
I think my main problem has been dieting! I have been on a diet all my life; when I want to lose weight will restrict myself for 2-3 weeks which is great cause I can loose the weight; but because I don't know how to eat normally or in moderation; I gain it all back just as fast!
Have just started using the spark tools (now that I have access to internet) and find they are wonderful. Especially the food tracker! Now I can see how many calories I am consuming and navigate my meals in order to stay within daily calorie limit. Find this extremely helpful especially when there are social functions that one really has to attend. Cause lets face it the world doesn't stop just because I am on a diet :)
Really praying that SP will make the difference in meeting my weight loss goal.
Picked up a pedometer today and will start using it tomorrow. Will be curious to see how many steps I do in 1 day.
Goals for next 2 weeks:
1. stay within 1200 calories per day
2. 5,000 steps per day
3. 8 cups of water per day
Signing off as if I don't never will get my dinner started; crustless quiche, and its already 7:30 pm... time really does go by far too fast
