just told my Mama about this site! Run that race

Last night my parents came over and my mama told me that she has to get a heart catheter done. She went thru this 30 years ago so I hope this have gotten better! She told me that she feels that she's going to take the weight off and she thinks that is alot of her problems ....she never has been a big eater and obesity runs in our family...me included so I SO PROUD OF HER! This has to be a mind set that we all have to come to. Of course she's going to talk to her doctor first but my mamas such a strong woman, there's nothing she can't do when she makes up her mind. I hope to be right ahead of her on this race. Mama runs circles around people my age! Good luck to all today and run that race! :O)

I have no reason why I did what I did, but I did! I knew I was doing wrong when I did it and still did it. My exercise was working in a flower garden for 30 mins ...not much, but trust me It's still not done but immediately showed improvement for my neighbors. Maybe tomorrow too ? We'll see. Maybe I'll like that better than the BIG Lunch and snacks I did. Good luck to all. First time going over since I'm restarting over two weeks ago!

So back on the horse almost! I realize this is ongoing for life! So right for now I'm only logging EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth. Big challenge for me , not so much for others! Still drinking the water almost to 8 a day, not there yet but making the effort. I'm really upset to update this page and go from 140 plus 40+ pounds again! What happened to me and Why did I do this AGAIN???? I'll never know why I contine to hurt myself but I do know before I was obsessed with weighing myself daily lots! That just can't be my life. So again I start but this time slowly record my food, drink my water, exercise is next. So Good luck to all! :O)

    Thank you ladies so much! I'm being good today .....so far my exercise will be working out in the garden does that count? It's in very poor shape and me too :O)

    I figure we're all on a healthy lifestyle journey. Sometimes we all hit bumps in the road (heck, I've wandered off the road ENTIRELY before!). The IMPORTANT thing is that we pick ourselves back up and head in the right direction, which is EXACTLY what you're doing. Hang in there - we're all works in progress!

O.K. I finally got up and went outside and worked for and hour and a half. I filled 3 garbabe cans with yard waste. This felt so good! What will I do next?
