I had NO IDEA how many calories were in just 1.5 cups of scrambled eggs. I mean, for real!!!! I don't even like them that much. They were not worth the calories, and now I know. (If you're wondering -- 548 calories and they didn't even have cheese.)

My boss, who is the healthiest person I know, advised me not to be discouraged that I blew through so many calories on such an unsatisfactory amount of food. If I tried to starve myself the rest of the day to keep it under 1,500 calories, I might become so hungry that I end up binging.

Instead, I'll eat sensibly the rest of the day and stick to my plan. I will not let this send me into a binge. I will not give up. I will lose weight this week.

    Good girl! So, how's has the rest of your day gone?

Saw your other blog about the Biggest Loser...I'm so happy you're on the bandwagon! haha I haven't decided just yet who I'm going to root for. I'm thinking Amanda & Rebecca - even though hosebag Tracy put Rebecca on Bob's team!

The Biggest Loser is the greatest show. I am just in love with it and I'm rooting for Shay and Abby. They're out there... turning down the cravings so that they can choose health and happiness. If they can do it, I believe I can too.

I tried five minutes of a pep talk last night. I did it in prayer. Talking to you, Lord, about the good things I was going to do in your strength and not just about all the ways I messed up was really helpful. And thank You for getting me out of bed to start my day at 5:40 am with quiet time. I love you! And I praise Your Holy Name!
