    For one thing hon, you have had a lot of emotional upset this past week with the passing of your grandma and then her funeral, and then even more by cleaning out her apartment! Holy smokes woman! Dont go beating yourself up now! Be easy on yourself and let you have some sad time.
You are not expected to be superwoman and pleasing everyone that walks on earth. The most important person is you and then your family, the rest of us are somewhere down the line after that.
You have done terrific. Give yourself a break, be kind to yourself. It will all come right when you are good and ready

    Some days we do too much and then other days it doesn't seem like we do enough, so in short, it all balances out! They all work together toward our goal. When we're not doing as much, we could be planning more or encouraging others more or getting caught up on much-needed rest. It all helps us in this journey that we're taking! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    First, don't beat yourself up! Everyone has off days. And, I know this is probably too late at night for you to act on, but here it goes.

I felt really tired today and extremely lazy. I spent the morning over at my boyfriend's place. We were supposed to go for a walk, but never did. Then, I needed to grocery shop and get ready for the week ahead. Long story short, it would have been very easy for me to skip my workout today. But, instead, I forced myself out the door. My promise to myself was "I will try at least a mile" and "I will go slow". As usual, once I started, I found that I felt better and picked up the pace. I did 3 miles, I had planned on 5 today, but that's okay.

I find the hardest part is getting started. Sometimes it just takes promising yourself a short workout. 10 minutes. If, after 10 minutes, you still aren't feeling it then at least you did 10 minutes and can be proud of yourself for making an effort.

    You aren't letting anybody down. We all have slow days, and I for one fully expect to have my share.
You do what you do and you contribute and motivate us on a regular basis.

Everybody gets a day off once in a while. Enjoy it, don't play the guilt game. None needed!

LST-Day 14-March 24

Well today we put my dads mom Grandma Sarah o rest. She is at peace and with my mom. They are probably smoking cigarettes since she asked my sister to put them in the casket and she did. We always put something in there. I put daffodils from my moms yard.

I stayed within my calorie range and also did my exercises. The rest was hard to fit in.

Today I could not have done better since it was a different kind of day as it was. emoticon

The achy is from the exercises I have been doing. For the belly fat. Check out Women's Health Mag. and exercises for belly fat. LOL

    Putting things in with people for the journey is a very old custom. And very nice one too. Great that you stayed on track even though it was a day very different from your other days. We do have to be able to adapt to unexpected situations. You did marvelous! hugs

    Sounds like you did excellent. I have the Women's Health Mag and will have to try them out. I do suppose they are more effective if you actually try the exercises.

Yesterday was a very good day. Good with food, actually under (1500) and good with exercise. I even tried running a little during my walk. My butt is achy from some of the exercises. That's a good thing right?

Did good with exercise, I seem to be getting used to it and not hating it so much. Walking is good especially since I take Tucker.

Could have done better on food, I always use it as a kind of cheat day. I do not go nuts but for breakfast I had a sausage, egg and cheese (2%0 on an english muffin (100 cal). That kind of thing.

emoticon I did lose one pound.

I am sure Tucker appreciates the company on the walks. I have a cat and I'm not sure how she would feel if I put her on a leash and walked her. LOL

    I too argue with myself when it comes to exercise. Now after almost two weeks away from it I will be back at the beginning and having to force myself to exercise even a little bit, I so hate exercise lol
