What am I doing wrong?

A good monday to all my Spark bodies,
I hope these last weeks of 2011 has been good to you. I don't know about me though!!!
I have been stuck in this weight (159/160) for the past 3 months, going up couple of pounds, coming back down again. I don't know, maybe this is where I am suppose to be. I wanted to reach the goal I had set for myself to be 145ish by the end of 2011, but it seems I will happen :(
I am doing whatever I can, eating right (I hope!!!), excersizing 4-5 days a week both cardio and strength training. And I write whatever I eat (almost).
The only thing I can think of is, I have not been sleeping well for sometimes, maybe that's what is causing my platou. I am happy with how far I have come and atleast kept this weight for the past 4-5 months but I am frustrated.
I could use any help and suggestions from you guys. I am sure there are some of you that have gone through what I am going!!!

    Sleep (and the lack thereof) always messes with my weight. And working nights, I have to be super aware of that or I get really discouraged (because sleep is always an issue when you work nights, trust me). Hang in there!

    I'm glad I read your blog because I am stuck in the same place. The information you have received from waterdiamonds makes a lot of sense to me. Good Luck on the rest of your journey and I hope you reach your goal soon. emoticon

The "almost" is a red flag. Could it be that you need to track Every Single Bite for a while, just to see if you really are staying on track with your food intake?

Sleep can definitely impact progress, but it would be helpful if you would rule out other factors too. For example, is your exercise routine stale? Your body may have adapted to the level you're working oat now and is therefore burning minimal calories.

Or, you may have reached a weight that requires you to drop your caloric intake a bit more in order to kick-start the next drop.

You should be very proud of yourself for having done this. It's tough to maintain, and you deserve a giant YES! So do take some time to pat yourself on the back.

Yup. Most of us get that way in this journey. But I really do believe that if you will honestly check your calories and increase the intensity or duration of your exercise (or add something new your body doesn't expect), you'll begin to see results again sooner rather than later.
