So work went pretty well today. I was kinda tired. Lol almost fell asleep during nap time. Kept pretty well in my calorie range a little below actually! I made some chicken for supper and walked for an hour, doing the total body sculpting by sparkpeople! It was the firts beginner workout i believe. Then i made a green smoothie!! It was delish! I was kinda skeptical at first but i fell in love :) I want to drink it all day!!

    It does sound good. I will have to look that one up.
Good job on the workout and staying within range....That's truely wonderful.
I'm heading to water aerobics. Want to get in an extra good workout today with weight in on Sunday.
D.H. is getting the nortic track all checked out. I borrowed one for a few months.
That should add a new element of exercise to the mix.

Finally feeling better

So i've been sick since saturday. Not like flu sick like raging head cold! these last two days have moreso been me just being really tired and blowing my nose. So i haven't worked out since saturday :((( But i walked on the treadmill for almost 2 hours today!! I've been eating horribly these last few days as well. and the meals at school do not help what so ever!

but thought i would post quick since i haven't in a while. Hope you all are doing well!! What kind of lunches do you like bringing to work that you can eat pretty quick?? I eat with the kids and sometimes he does not like to stay seated!! :) love him all the same tho!

    As much as we like to not eat lunch meat....I had days like that also. If it's not quick I don't get a chance to eat. So what I do is just use 2 oz of lunch meat which is usually a serving and load that bad boy up with lots of spinach and a may substitue like pesto to really give it a kick. A decent bread of course.
Veggie sticks and grapes...all hand food.
Good Luck. newest favorite is the juice of a cucumber and a 1/4 cup of apple juice. Sneaks in fruit/veggie serving.

Day 17: What packed lunches do you like? Day 5 of Insanity!!

so i've kept up insanity :) yay me! Tomorrow will be the end of week one! yayyy!! I also walked for an hour all together! I'm pretty tired haha and a bit sore! But i'm beginning to enjoy the feeling :)

So just thought i would post quick! Hope you all had successful days!

What would you suggest for packed lunches?!

    i make things in the slow cooker over the weekend. - a protein, avg of veggie and a whole grain. that way it makes lunches or plan b suppers during the week easier.

    Congrats on a week of Insanity! I'm not sure I could do that. I like to pack lunches with a sandwich (my bread has a lot of protein), chobani yogurt, and fruit

Day 15: Day3 of insanity

Well hello everyone! Today was a snow day at school, which means no work! So today was a big fitness day for me. I walked for 45 minutes upping the incline today. Then i did the third day of insanity later on. And walked for another 30 minutes to loosen up a little and get my steps in for the day! So yay!

I even cleaned my room, vacuumed the living room and cleaned that up as well! I get kind of lazy with cleaning especially when i put a lot of my time to working out. Glad i did that though its a little less of me being sedentary!

Tomorrow is one of my friend from the nursing homes wedding so i will be helping with that and hoping to get my workout done in the morning, then get ready!

I hope you all have a wonderful day/evening i guess now :) And i'm hoping for some decent weather tomorrow!

    I sure hope your friend has nice weather for her wedding.
The schools were closed here also as it was raining and right at freezing temp.
I went out to water aerobics. It was only a 9 mile drive and 8 of it was on the hwy which was wet but not icy. Thankfully. My 1/4 mile driveway was however pure ice. All ended well.
I also got time in on the treadmill.
This is my first night shift so I'll sleep all day tomorrow.
Good job on cleaning the place and getting several workouts in.

Day 13: Insanity Day 1

Well today went wonderfully! Work was great! I walked there and back, only 11 blocks, and i walked my dog up to the post office, only 8 blocks. But that was something! Then i had a tuna sandwhich with an apple for supper :) After supper i just hung out for a bit, and watched my recordings of PLL. Then feeling guilty that i sat on my bum for two and a half hours.

Soooo then i walked on the treadmill for 70 minutes all together! mostly just at 3 and upped it to 5 at the highest, which was for a minute. but i had it at 3.5 for a lot. And thats not it, when i hit 20 minutes i upped the incline every other minute until i reached 12 and then went down.

After I did the insanity fit test. And honestly was pretty exhausted by then (yay)
But here are my results!
1st fit test-
Switch kicks- 78
Power Jacks- 32
Power knees- 85
Power squats- 24
Globe Jumps- 6
Suicide Jumps- 11
push up jacks- 7 :(
and whatever the last one was called- 47

so as you can see i was getting tired towards the end, but honestly that was the best shower i ever took after!

    Yeah!!! you are doing SUPER! Truely amazing is what I'm calling your energy level.
You should be very proud of yourself. You really make me want to walk another mile. emoticon
A tuna sandwich does sound good. I had a Big Mac in a Bowl last night for dinner. Those are so crazy fun and taste so good. The recipe is here if you do a spark search.
