New food item to try!!!!

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Just had to share this with you all. I found a great bread alternative. I thought it was going to be horrible but it was actually really really good. It is called Flatout Foldit Artisan Flatbread. There are many flavors but I got the Soft Pretzel kind and it is soooo good. And it only has 100 calories, 16g of carbs. That is awesome. On this diet I have been on I try to keep my carbs to 20g per meal so that fits just right. Had it for breakfast with egg on it, and for lunch with turkey on it. But try it - it is great!!

Love the Flatout breads. They have several excellent wraps, also -- low carb, high fiber, very tasty. (And they're oblong/oval instead of perfectly round, which actually makes them easier to use as wraps!) emoticon

Just to motivate someone!!!

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

I am just excited that I have lost about 12 pounds or so and it feels really good. I am not doing anything major either. Just stopped drinking sodas and started drinking water. I watch my carbs and of course no sugar or bread. And i have been riding my bike about 30-45 per day. And while I am watching a tv show a couple times a day, I just move. Like aerobics type exercise and it doesn't seem like much when you are focused on your show. I just started less than 4 weeks ago and I feel like I have changed my whole lifestyle of eating. I now eat to live intead of live to eat. And I can do it anyone can. I used to drink coke after coke, grab a handful of chips or a pop tart, fast food= just anything I wanted. And I quickly realized I was killing myself. We all have to watch what we are putting in our bodies. If you just move throughout the day, watch your carbs, no sugar, add vegetables- you will quickly be on the path to a new you. Let's do it people!!!! Life is too short!!!
