Healthy Back Groove Continued Down to 262 ounces away from 250ville

Thursday, March 29, 2012

1. Maintained freedom from parasitic relationships and formed healthy ones.

2. Continue to enjoy plant based protein shakes as part of my eating regimen and lifestyle.

3. Enjoyed walking at the park until the GA pollen invaded my life and drove me back inside.

4. Days away from being able to access my new gym which is less than five miles away and paid for in advance for 5 months! (erasing all obstacles)

5. Downloaded an awesome Android app for creating effective strength training workouts. (I've accepted I may have loose skin for a little while but I'm going to fight it with all my might via water, coconut oil, healthy fats, and WEIGHT LIFTING!)

6. I intercede for each and every person who tries to hinder my mission to save my life. (more about that later.)

7. Have faith that God has placed inside of me everything needed for me to be as healthy and whole in my body as I am in my soul.

How are you doing with your healthy groove? Did you lose it? Do you have a plan to get it back?

Praying God's best for your healthy adventures.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

Enjoy sparking!

How Shawneda Got Her Healthy Groove Back

Monday, March 05, 2012

1. Cut off all parasitic relationships.

2. Added plant based protein shakes as a staple to my eating regimen.

3. Paid for a membership to a child friendly workout facility for the next five months starting in April.

4. Get to sleep before 11PM 5-6 nights a week.

5. Stopped the INSANITY. Counting calories has not ever had long term effects for me.

6. Stopped trying to find out what worked for everyone else and listened to my body about what worked for me.

7. Returned to making quality time for the most important relationship in my life so I am able to offer my best in all the other relationships in my life.

8. Stopped being on the computer all the time (hence the lack of my participation on the Spark.)

9. Started smiling and focusing on all things God blesses me with everyday.

How are you doing with your healthy groove? Did you lose it? Do you have a plan to get it back?

Praying God's best for your healthy adventures.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

Enjoy sparking!

Why I LOVE and LEFT Spark LIVE meetings as a Leader

Thursday, January 19, 2012

I love Spark LIVE meetings because they do what I missed from my WW days. They gave me in person time with other people pursuing a similar goal as myself.

Why did I leave Spark LIVE leader? Simple. Personal life responsibilities changed and I had to start getting to bed earlier.

Will I still be around the Spark? You BET! Probably now more than before because I'll do it during the day but in snatches...

I'll be in Bob and Anne's class they are very fun and more my speed.

Hope your year is going great. G'nite.

Enjoying Sparking,
Shawneda

I understand about life sometimes getting in the way and needing to get to bed earlier. But I will still miss you on Thursday night. I am going to have to try harder to make some of the other classes. See you around on the Spark!

Boy, do I understand this. I would love to join more of the meetings but they just aren't during times that are convenient for me. Good luck to you Shawneda!

New Year, New Responsibilities, New ME!

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Last year, was a very challenging but good year. If for no other reason I was alive to see it come and go.

I'm not going to make any sweeping gestures and grand predictions for my goals this year. I'll allow my fitness tracker to do my talking for me.

As I continue with my studies and working in my writing career I simply have implemented the same tactics in my more stable areas of my life into my health. Relentless~dogged~pursuit.

I have accepted it won't be perfect...but it will never be over.

Making choices that will place me on the path I want to be on is the new plan.

My only challenge this year is to be where I must in order to be who I'm supposed to be, that includes online and offline.

So my emoticon's I' looking forward to watching you progress and move forward in your goals and doing the same in mine.

My background will likely not change because it is so fitting. I'm not on SP to be perfect. I've been down that road...I know where it leads to...back to the beginning. I'm here to encourage and support as well as receive encouragement and support from other people doing the same thing as me...becoming more fit.

Thanks for reading and enjoy sparking.

Enjoying Sparking,
Shawneda

Finishing Strong!

Wednesday, December 07, 2011

So I know it has been almost thirty days since I blogged and I'm okay with that because though I haven't been doing the blog thing I have still been sparking. Spark LIVE! meetings keep me accountable and motivated as well as reading the friend feed. In addition to planning out my dinners and continuing to juice feast I have also been going to the gym missing only three days because I had to complete my novel.

So excited because I did finish it and won NANOWRIMO scratched it off of my literary before I die to do list. Writing a novel in thirty days takes a lot out of you. Now on to revising and editing which will be done a la my treadmill workspace and kindle.

Still sparking and not gonna stop. Have to make it a strong finish.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

Keep sparking!
