every step makes a difference

Sunday, March 23, 2014

Along my emotional struggles, I have found; I WANT TO LIVE healthy, and happy & self image really isn't everything.

I have met a lot of people along my journey; all have taught me life is important to accept good with bad. This last year I felt there was more bad then good, after evaluating both I have 100% good because I'M ALIVE.

Stress has always been a factor, so I thought; I realized everything that I dewelled on that didn't go right, just got me closer to my journey of how to change it.

Love the inspirational motivation! Especially your insight that there is a difference sometimes between healthy and happy/self image. There's something more fulfilling and longer lasting in the former, and it's worth remembering!

starting over; dusting the cob webs off

I official am back 2 a little above 10 lbs lost, since my weight journey, looking for a easy starter yoga dvd. I finally broke down in Dr. Office, she basicly Instructed me 2 get off my bleeeep, & get moven. So here I go again, just wish the snow here in Maine was gone enough to get moven outside.

In my search for an easy yoga dvd, I have found that Peggy Cappy's series are a good fit for me. I tried some from the library and liked it so much I bought my own. She even has one just for your back. I lost 10 pounds my first year with spark, but I am stuck too. Trying to get activity in and at least be aware of what and why I am eating.

broke 20 day streak

Monday, June 17, 2013

6/14/13-Friday I was @ wendys ordering a honey mustard flat bread & root beer rolled right off my tongue in drive thru. I even had a water with me, but it was warm from the sun. I stared @ the soda for minutes b4 I grabbed it & took a sip then couldn't stop till it was gone (I made 20 days on streak) Saturday morning my mom bought dollar tree orange soda & I had a half a glass, wow was that way to sweet (I use to drink half a bottle a day).

It happens! 20 days was a good start. Now you know you can go a long period of time and you will again when you set your mind to it! Don't beat yourself up about it. Isn't it funny how our tastes for things can change when we don't have it for so long?

back trouble-no activity for 72 hours (CABLE TV SUCKS WHEN YOU SEEM TO BE LAYING THERE 4EVER)

Monday, June 10, 2013

friday- 1st time ever had to call supervisor to relieve me (@ 3am). I was walking slower then a turtle while holding my breath to control the pain, while sitting from my hips to my toes went numb. I rarely call in I just push through until I leave to get into my doctors. I managed to get in @ 12:30 & I guess I did a good job on my back (still have no idea what this time). Doctor limited me to NO ACTIVITY 72 HOURS.

Monday came around & I was glad I could try to walk, I only made .75 of a mile b4 my right side from hip 2 feet felt pain. I am going 2 try to get back into my doctors 2morrow, considering I start back work wednesday. Hopefully it straightens out cuz I don't have enough earned time to cover this week (took 80 for my 18 days vacation). Guess I should have saved some.

I have been trying to eat extra veggies & more proteins to control my loss of exercise. I am still @ a stand still.

emoticon my cat stayed pretty much by me the whole time, when I arrived @ 4am friday; he walked right up to me & used his paw to get my attention by rubbing it against my arm, then layed right beside me.

16 days going strong on no soda streak emoticon
