I have lost 10lbs so far. This feels so good....My personal trainer kicked my but on Saturday and yesterday, but it's all worth it.

Ok. So yesterday i went to the gym for only 20 seems like i didnt really do that much. I did the stepper for 20 minutes and my thighs were on guess i can say i did progress. The trainer told me that i didnt have to be at the gym for hours to feel like i lost weight...he said get in and get out,

My question is...was 20 minutes too short?

    I think it was fine. I have a set amount, but I try to get in what I can; some days are harder than others.

    i don't know that i'd say 20 minutes is too short but it may not be enough if that's the only exercise you are getting during the day. The good thing about exercise is you don't have to do it all at once for it to work. I work 2 jobs and usually have to do my exercising in increments during my lunch breaks. However, if you are making progress and your trainer is pleased w/ your work i'd keep on doing what you are doing. Eventually everyone has to change up there routine to keep losing weight though. Just do what works for you. Have a GREAT DAY!!!!

I lost 7lbs in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMGOOODNESSSS......I'm am so motivated to begin this journey...I have been eating all the proper food, working out, and getting ready to work with a personal trainer. Life is good....

It's hard for me to stay focus when you are surrounded by people who does not have the same goal as you when it comes to losing weight. The thing i need to do is eat the proper foods...I started off great this morning with plain bagel, snack, and lunch...but i forgot to eat dinner. Not to say that I wanted to forget but when I am doing so many things like work, school, workout, i totally forgot to eat...LOL...When i got home it was 9pm and the only thing i had to eat was a half of hotdog!!!

Talk about disappointment. I am going to the grocery store TODAY and i'm getting the proper food. I might have slipped but I didnt fall...still on the grind with losing weight.

    Hey there,

Good job on not falling. Most of the time when we slip its not because we wanted to, it just happens without warning. But at least you didn't give in to it. You pulled yourself up and did what you needed to do and moved on. You didn't dwell on it, like some do, you looked at it, learned from it, and put it away never to be seen or heard from again.

As long as we learn from our mishaps chances are we wont repeat them. Keep the good work and may God continue to bestow his blessings upon you as you continue with your healthy lifestyle changes.

    Keep moving forward. When we stumble, we need to get back up and continue on toward our goal, learning what caused us to stumble and watch out for it the next time.

    You have the right determination and attitude. You aren't beating yourself up over it, instead you are learning and gaining momentum from it. One thing I do is, I also have small grab and go snacks prepared in the fridge for me so when I get a craving it is easy to grab one.

It is time that I start taking care of my body because we only live once and I want to be able to feel great and live a healthier life.

It is time that I come out of my shell and LIVE MY LIFE LIKE IT'S GOLDEN. I love reading the bible and it tells us that our body is a temple and that we should treat it well....eating Burger King with large fries is not exactly taking care of my is a new day and tomorrow is my kick off for my weight loss.

It is time that I start living right....and eating right......THE TIME IS NOW

  Hey Team!

Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I had a stumble today that I wasn't able to work out at the facility but my legs still work and I'm going for a walk. I think I will try FitWorks this time instead of Lifetime Fitness...i am going to get a personal trainer and I'm going to prove the people who said i wouldnt do it wrong.

So glad you guys are apart of my team!!!!
