Fall seven times. Stand up eight.

Sunday, November 12, 2006

While you are down on the ground it may be useful to take a moment to breath, reset your perspective, and examine the obstacle that knocked you dowm in the start. It would be a shame to continue to stumble over the same obstacle.

How can you stand up eight times if you fall down only seven?

The present is what slips by us while we're pondering the past and worrying about the future.

I only think about yesterday in the morning today and only think about tomorrow in the evening today. That's not bad. I review yesterday's activities to see what was not completed and forward those activities to the present. In the evening, I review what needs to be done in the day comming. I received a college degree after I was 20. I learned tact and diplomacy after I was 20.

I learned to survive before I was 20: I learned to Live after I was 20.
