Sounds like a great plan. Pretty soon those 16's will be to big to wear :) I like the reward system too...that can help alot because we're working towards mini goals and rewards :) Good luck!

Moving forward

Monday, November 17, 2008

I had a good weekend and got a lot done. DH took me out on a date Saturday evening. We went to dinner and then glow golf and bowling and got a chance to talk. I let him know how I feel and I think it helped. I have made a deal with him that within a year I will either find a better job or go back to school part time while I work. I am going to see a counselor so I can work through some things. The most important thing to me right now is taking care of myself so that I can be a healthy woman/mom/wife and that is what I am doing!

I have to say I feel great and have a lot of energy. I am sleeping better at night and actually look forward to working out. I am going to the water aerobics class, will do my strength training tonight and walked today - YAY!

I am strong, I am invincible, I am WOMAN

I am not giving up and letting myself get off track. DH and I are fighting--he wants me to quit my job and go back to school, or stay home with DS again and go to school. The thing is I like my job and have been looking for another job and we also need both our incomes to make ends meet. I also think part of the problem is that I am exercising and trying to get healthy and make myself feel better and that makes him insecure somehow. Anyway, I am going to suggest to DH we go see a counselor to work through this because we keep arguing about the same thing. I did tell him I am not fighting or arguing with him any more and he did say he was sorry, but I am still hurt/angry.

I am going to the gym tonight and will work off some of this frustration.

I agree with Kris you have to think of yourself and your child. In today's economy both parents need to have a job. And don't feel bad I am kind of going through the same thing with my husband. It is insecurity on their part because, for some idiotic reason they think we are doing this for another man or something.

I hope everything works out for you. Keep up the good work.

It needs to be about you and how you feel and how you want to be healthy.

We should all be allowed to take these measures. Did you make it to the gym?

Thinking about you,

Kris

November already?

Wednesday, November 05, 2008

I am motivated and getting more consistant with exercising every day. I feel driven to do more exercise and want to be strong and healthy. I owe it to myself and my family to make good choices and stick with them. THIS TIME I will not get distracted by obstacles, and will keep moving forward. I have so much to look forward to, family visits in December and January and my 40th birthday/Mardi Gras celebration in Lafayette, LA in February!!
