I enjoyed my swim again this evening. What was even nicer, was that for at least 30 of the 50 minutes I was in the pool, I had it all to myself
I could easily have stayed in swimming for longer, but I'd already been summoned, as we were heading out to eat this evening.
The only cloud on the horizon (here in Dubai) is that the battery in my Pool Mate - my watch which logs my number of lengths, speed, calories burned etc. is dying!!!

Saturday, late afternoon, I wasn't sure how long I really wanted to keep swimming for. So when after 30 min of swimming, a few teenagers jumped in the pool, I decided to call it a night. I'd swam 40 lengths (800m), so that was okay.
Tonight I went in the pool at 6.15pm and felt more relaxed swimming. (Apart from when the Indian couple with their toddler walked or swam across my path a few times, that is).
I swam for an hour, swimming 82 lengths in total and 1640m (a mile).
I really enjoyed my swim this evening, and didn't experience any aches or tiredness in my shoulders, which I often get after the first 30 - 40 min

I'm in Dubai at the moment, so am trying to keep my fitness minutes up. It's so hot during the day that I'm not in the least bit motivated to hit the gym, even though it's air-conditioned. Especially with the sun shining brightly and my quest for some colour
I enjoy sitting on the pool steps to keep cool, reading my novel.
I did make the effort to have a proper swim this evening, which I enjoyed.
35 min of Breast Stroke, it's a start.............
I'm missing my daily walks though, so will have to up the ante!!!
