Each day I watch 8 'nutrients' as I add food to each meal or snack. When I finish eating for the day, I check to see the final results of the whole day.. I love it when I see everything within my goals. I added a few nutrients (Calcium, Vitamin C, Iron, Fiber) and so with 8 'nutrients' to watch, it is hard to get them ALL in the right range!
I always add my multivitamin when adding my food, because I found there is no way I can eat enough food to get what I need nutritionally. Some days, like today, I have to take a little extra fiber, and some days I have to take a little extra calcium... but overall, I am doing well, and excited to see that although the weight is not dropping off, I am eating right and getting what is important for my health!
I am also feeling better overall and more consistently too! I have lost some weight, and since they say that it is best to lose it slowly, maybe I am doing something right this time. I usually lose a lot fast, and then gain it all back as soon as I go off my diet. I want to learn to daily eat what my body needs regardless of what is going on around me: stressful situations, fellowshiping with friends, boredom, etc... and after 3 months on Sparkpeople and my many new friends, I think that I am learning little by little! A special thanks to all of you, you are such a great help and encouragement to me!!
