Happy at Peace Today

All is well. I have no issues with Janet. I am feeling good and moving more. I am packing. My last day on the job is Friday. We leave Saturday. We should arrive in Massachusetts Sunday.

We are taking rental property and opening a bed and breakfast. I am so excited. I will be my own boss again.

How cool is that.

I have been tracking and eating less meat and more veggies. I am enjoying trying new meals.

I hope to have a weight loss this week.

Back In the Saddle - Winter Challenge I Can I Can!!!

I am back in the saddle the Winter Challenge. I am so glad to be a part experiencing positive lifestyle changes with a great group of people. I am on the Beautiful Butterflies in Winter Team. The spring I will just blossom and fly away LOL.

I will not change very much of my food choices. I have learned over the last few months that my body loves variety.

My system seems to flourishes will I am mixing things up.

Everything is well and I am doing great.

Back to Square One

I am starting Atkins again. This is my back to square one. I realize this meal plan gives my body the kick start I need to get back on track. I am also preparing my mind by not feeling like I did something wrong. This is all about loving myself and accepts where I am in my life.

I feel strong and positive about this journey I am on.

I am taking baby steps, writing and keeping my mantra alive.

I will not give up on myself. I am the only one that can make it happen for me with God's help .

I have the power to succeed or fail.

I choose to succeed.

    Good for you for loving yourself and accepting where you are. You have to be good to yourself. If the diet works for you and is good for your body and makes you feel your best then you can do it! If it's something that makes you feel deprived or lethargic then is there something else you can do? What works best for you and is best for your health and your body is the right thing.

We all need to remind ourselves of the basics.

    The Atkins diet can be a kickstart--or a nightmare. If you have kidney issues, that much protein is NEVER a good idea, you will only worsen the damage. Do check 1)with a RENAL nutrition specialist, and 2)your doctor, before yoiu embark on anything like that, to make sure you get optimum nutrition WITHOUT further kidney issues!

Check out the list of foods to avoid in the articles in the LIBRARY for our ESRD team... work your menus around THAT. It is tough, but do-able... and healthier for you with the issues you have.

I would really hate to see you getting sick, m'dear!

    I dont know any thing about the Atkins Diet!!! Is it good for the Kidneys? I will have to look this one up. Best to you and restarting, it is so hard some times.
