Day 5 New lifestyle Challenge Everyday

Doing great. I finally got the courage to go to the gym. I was so afraid. I walked in and just stood to the side. The lady walked to me and I ask her to give me a second. She ask if I wanted a tour. This was a great idea. After the tour I felt much better.

I did not realize they had a 30 minute workout moving from different equipment. This is great I did not know they offered that. So I made an appointment for Friday am.

I track everything. I see my food choices are the same every week so next week I am going to mix things up with different veggies and fruits.

My snacks are peanut butter and saltines. My fruit I make smooties in the heat this is like ice cream to me.

I am acting like this is my lifestyle and just a 8 week challenge. What does that mean. Not in a panic over anything.

Stay within the basic I am learned from Spark food guide.

All is well

    Way to go, I make protein drinks for me when i dont eat enough protein useing Almond milk, and its sooooo good. And now we have all this fresh fruit. I still had straw berry from last year and took some out of the freezer today. Be well.

I read your blog tonight, and I just want to say how glad I am that you're listening to your inner wisdom.

I'm pleased as punch that I inspired you to stretch yourself (go buy running shoes and sign up for 5k Your Way), but I was worried about you overdoing. You are such a terrific lady, and I will cheer you on toward every goal you want to achieve. But in reading your blogs I could tell you're entering the fitness arena at your own pace and gently, and I worried that jumping into the 5k Your Way was too much too soon.

So Yay, You!!! For listening to your body, and your heart, and your feelings, and allowing your mind to change (for now). Keep up with the gentle goals you've set for yourself, and be kind to yourself!

This was the most loving reply I have ever ever recevied. This person has taking the time to read my blogs and get to know me. Reading this note I felt I had know them for a long time and they have known me.

This is the result of me being honest, persistent, committed, trusting, open and guess what liked minded people can sense each other even online.

My mother always said a hint to the wise is sufficient.

Day 3 Summer Gain 5% of a new lifestyle Challenge In 8 weeks

Hi All,

I read the blog about the 5% challenges I have a new prospective about things now


Great day today. I packed my breakfast and lunch. I only walk up the stairs one time.

I did not get to the gym. However I did pack the bag with my sneakers and gym clothes I left it in the car.

I tracked all my food and stayed within my limits. This is not my challenge my challenge is moving my body.

I opt out of the walk 5k plan. I felt to pressured.

I tried a little Zumba nice I liked that. When I can paid I am going to buy the xbox Zumba. That was fun!!!!

Tomorrow

The same goal until I can successful met them


Breakfast will be something with protein and fiber. This will help me get thru the morning until lunch.

I bring a empty water bottle and fill up at the water fountain when I need to.

I will walk the 3 flights of stairs at work 3 times before I go home.

My plan is to go to the gym after work so I will pack a bag with my sneakers and workout clothes.

I will spend an hour at the gym on the treadmill for 30 mins or more.

My dinner is frozen so I just need to warm it up and I am good to go.

I will spark during the day at work.

Now the mantra


I will not give up on myself. I am the only one that can make it happen for me with God's help . I have the power to succeed or fail.

I choose to succeed.

    Great Plan and Good attitude to go with it. As for the 5 k walk you will get to it in time as it is not going anywhere.

    I keep thinking about getting Zumbo for Wii, but I have enough other things to keep me occupied that I probably shouldn't spend the money.
I hope you don't feel bad about quitting the training program. I've found that if there's too much pressure, it really loses a lot of pleasure...and pleasure's what's going to keep us moving.

Day2 Summer Lose 5% Challenge

Great day today again. I am preparing for work tomorrow.

I have pre prepared meal froze. This will be my lunch.

Breakfast will be something with protein and fiber. This will help me get thru the morning until lunch.

I bring a empty water bottle and fill up at the water fountain when I need to.

I will walk the 3 flights of stairs at work 3 times before I go home.

Ready, Set, Off to a Peaceful Start - Day 1 Summer 5% Challenge

I had a great day today. I tracked and stayed within my caloric range.

I did 10 mins of exercise this morning. Prepared my meals for the rest of the week.

Did my laundry and sparked the rest of the evening.

Sunday I walk get my 30mins in. I will just keep during what I am doing.

So with faith and adventure I start this path with joy and peace.

I will not give up on myself. I am the only one that can make it happen for me with God's help . I have the power to succeed or fail.

I choose to succeed.
