Stay present This is my goal for the Week - Day 5

Checking In

Today went well. I am not going to change my hours at work. I will help my husband launch his business. I feel good with this decision.

All food is tracked. I packed a lunch with the foods I have plan on the tracker.

I will changed my food choice today on the spot. I did not to stick with the plan.

I wanted to eat a special food today.

I have decided to be flexible about my food choices and use tracker.

I parked in the far parking lot and walk to the building this is about a 3 minute walk and then back to my car.

I have ask for a walking buddy in the Summer challenge, The Extra Mile, 5K Your way. Waiting to see if I can get a buddy

I spoke words of gratitude to myself and others this includes my husband

I have honestly put in a Adult day today. I wanted to act like a child. I did not work and by the time I got home child Janet was fine.

I don't give up on myself. I am the only one that can make it happen for me with God's help . I have the power to succeed or fail. Choose to succeed.

    Our lives are meant to be joyful, not written in stone--so you are free to make another choice whenever you feel it is appropriate... and you know how to make wiser choices now, so making a change can still be in your best interests healthwise.

    Hi, Miss Janet! I had to go back and read about your week so far. I've been delinquent. lol

I love how you have given Little Janet her voice and let her play a little (but Big Janet is always in control).

And I think it's so great that you feel good about allowing some flexibility in your plan but are keeping your awareness so as not to get carried away.

Checking In

Back to work. I was a little anxious today. I feel my body getting smaller that feels a little uncomfortable. But I will not overeat to slow this process down.


All food is tracked. I packed a lunch with the foods I have plan on the tracker. This is a biggy. I will sometimes change my food on the spot. I am learning to stick with the plan. I can always eat a special food on another day. So now if I think of something I want I go to the tracker and place it on the next day.

I want to move more. I have ask for a walking buddy in the Summer challenge, The Extra Mile, 5K Your way. We will see if I can get a buddy

I have honestly put in a Adult day today. I have not acted like a child. I take care of adult and little Janet. I have a lot of work to do on shaping Janet, However, I have come a very, very long way. All praises to God!!!!

Checking In

Feeling great today I have played games, dance, me and my husband did greeks things like working on our web site.

Food is tracked

I spoke words of gratitude to myself and others

I have honestly put in a child day today. I have not acted like a adult and if I do I will give Big Janet the attention she needs as to keep her at peace So little Janet can have fun with her.

I spoke words of gratitude to myself and others

I have honestly put an adult day in. I have not acted like a child and if I do I will give little Janet the attention she needs as to keep her at peace For Adult Janet to take care of her.

    emoticon I believe that little Janet can teach Big Janet that play is fun.
So even when you are being an adult nurture the child in you because the child loves, trusts and gives and plays without any reservations.
Go ahead and get those goal accomplished with a spirit of the child in you. emoticon and you did it.

Stay present means to check in with me. Am I hungry, angry, lonely or tired.

What can I do to make me healthy and happy today?

Am I tracking my food?

Moving my body enough to make a difference?

Showing gratitude and appreciation for life, mine and others?

Have I honestly put in a adult day or have I acted like a child and want what I want not thinking about the results of my actions?

This will be a powerful week on accountability for me.

I will love myself and take this path in faith, hope and peace.

    Thank you so much for you blog. I have been finding it very hard lately to be present. I've never been really good at it, but it seems that in the last few years I struggle with it more. I like the questions that you ask yourself. I will use those to "check in" with myself and see what choices I can make after first figuring out what it is that I really need. I think being present is a huge factor in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Thanks for the reminder.
