Just got off work

Well, it's 12:28 am. I got off work at 11:30pm. Had a wonderful thing happen. One of the physical therapist at the hospital ( my work place) came up to me and said, " Hey, you've lost weight" So awesome. I've been working at this weight loss thing since May 22nd and I have lost 11.5 pounds but know one has seemed to notice. So cool that someone did :)

A bit of Track but still much better

So yesterday I was very frustrated with working with accounting software. Wanted to throw computer so I went out to eat with my daughter instead. Wow, I can see my pattern. I continued eating out for dinner as well. I really have a connection with over eating and stress. Today I'm trying to stay calm. I did one really positive thing yesterday. After over eating for lunch I went to the gym and did my Hour workout. Instead of just sitting and being angry at myself. That is a big change for me :)

    Just remember we are human and are not perfect. you did a good job picking your self up and heading to the gym. I am a stress eater my self love the salty stuff. i am trying something new this week to see if i can control my stress eating. I am going to drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes and see if i still want the snack. have you tried it ? emoticon

Long Summer

Well, it's been up and down. I'm getting physically into good shape but the weight hasn't come off in the last weeks . That's not entirely true its gone up 1.5 pounds and then back down 1.5 pounds so now I'm back to the original weight loss. I have 28.5 pounds to go. I am weighing myself less. I was a little obsessed with the scale. I'm feeling good and running a mile now. I am learning to start looking at other goals I'm meeting other then the scale.

Back on Track

Well, Got to the gym. I can run a mile in 11:30 mins now. I know that's not fast but I started at 13 min mile so I'm stoked. I saw pictures from vacation. Very disheartening. I have lost weight but still have a long way to go. Hopefully next vacation pics will be to my satisfaction. Anyway, off to buy some food and maybe go to work at hospital tonight. We are usually low cenus on holidays with no planed surgeries so will see. I do like the time and a half for holiday pay :)

The Day After

Been gone for the last 3 days. Went to Mt. Shasta Area. SOOO beautiful. Was camping so it was work. Did watch what I ate but Also didn't. Does that make any sense? At togo's the sandwich shop, on the way up, I made a good decision. 480 Calorie sandwich. Then some bad decisions, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and such. Then some good decision. Mile run in morning. Two long walk/ hikes. Swimming bout 3/4 of a mile. Then a few more bad decision on eating. Anyway, weighted in today and I'm up 1 1/2 pounds. Really not to bad. Had a lot of salty potato chips bacon sausage and other sodium full foods. Pretty good all in all for vacation. Plan today: Water water water, running a little and work. All seems do able. Oh, and some veggies and fruit added in :)

    Glad you had a great Vacation ! Its always fun to get away and have fun. I like the fact you didn't beat yourself up over a few food choices you made you were camping and getting more exercise with the swimming walking and hiking. I like your plan getting in your water fruits and veggies. i would sat you did better better than pretty good on vacation the words i would use are emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
