On Call

Well, this has been a frustrating weekend. I was scheduled to work at hospital but was put on call. And again on call today Monday. I got called in Sat and worked almost a whole shift ( time and half YES :) then sat around waiting on sunday and again today. This is so hard. I just wanted to eat while waiting around but I didn't. Just was hard. Lost .5 pound again. Hoping for a little more tomorrow. Got the workout in, in the morning. So things are good

Well, it's a working weekend for me. I'm frustrated that the scale isn't moving down but I have lost 5 inches in my waist alone So it's ok. maybe next week will be the week. I just need to keep plugging away. My goal is set for Sept not tomorrow :)

    The scale will eventually catch up with the inches, but those inches tell the story far more clearly.

Well, my weight has been at a stand still but finally just went down a half pound :) 2.5 weeks and 8 pounds. Very nice. I lost so fast the first week it's hard when it doesn't go as fast on the the next weeks but its all good. Goal today is to get to gym again

Energy BACK UP :) Got my workout in up the speed again. Burned 710 CALS. Got grocery shopping done. Now a few more things to tackle. Lots of veggies. I'm really into cooking spinach with spay oil and some garlic. I've been adding it to lunches and dinner. Great with mushroom too!!!!!!!! Bough two more bags at Trader Joes today. It's a work weekend for me. I'm on at the hospital sat thur monday but I feel ready for it. I know I need a day off from exercise every so often but it seems like I'm in a bad mood when I take a day off.

Well, it's been a long day. Into my third week of watching calories and exercising. I was counting on being at work tonight but they called me off so I'm home for the evening and don't quite know what to do with myself. I got the gym done this morning. Super tired. I will take a break tomorrow, well maybe. I've done 4 days in a row 60 mins on treadmill at 15% incline. I upped my speed today. I've lost a total of 7.5 pounds which is great but still have 33.5 to go. Little frustrating that it can't come off in 2 weeks :). I need to focus on the little things that are already better. My clothes that were too tight are feeling so much better on. I don't need new sizes yet but it is nice not to have that tight feeling around my waist. I'm bending better. My heart rate recovers so much faster after my workouts then when I 1st started. I'm still wanting to eat things I shouldn't but its better. I know at the 1 month point I will be even better. Anyway, I feel a little better just writing about it.
