Wearing the gym clothes but not feeling into it

So I'm dressed for the gym. Haven't made it there yet. I worked the last part of my shift last night with a pych patient and it was very draining. Woke up early again but I'm dragging. Due at the hospital at 3pm. I'm going to the gym. I really am. Tomorrow I can't. Going to visit my girls at College. So very good reason to go today. Typing this out is helping :)

    Read a great one the other day - convince yourself to just go even if you only do half your regular workout... by the time you're halfway there, you will more than likely finish!

Today's a new day

Yeah, slept last night. Skipped a day of gym yesterday. Feel better today. Made dinner for my son and future daughter in law. I haven't been cooking very much at all with this reduction in eating :) It's a lot easier to control what I eat if I just cook for myself. So I've lost 30 pounds in the last 4 months and my husband ( without trying) has lost 20 just as a side effect to my not cooking very much. He is happy about it. I do cook a lot healthier when I do. I'm always for the giant salad or fruit salad. Just funny that he is not trying and has lost 20 pounds.

ugh woke up at 2am

So woke up a 2am couldn't go back to sleep. Got on the computer and my daughter was online ( my oldest at chico state) Funny to talk to her at 2am but nice. Went back to sleep around 3:30am and then woke up at 6am. so it's going to be a long day

A bit out of sorts. Weird weekend. Allergies started up. Took some non drowsy medication yesterday and it put me to sleep. Got my workout in later but only ran one mile instead of my usually 2. I did do a full hour on teardmill though the rest of it incline walking. It was 100 degrees here yesterday. Hotter then any day this summer. Probably my reason for being out of sorts :)

late afternoon workout

Day off from hospital. Got stuff done and then got to gym around 4:15pm. Good workout. The running felt good so I upped the speed. Scale was finally done this morning too. 29 pounds down total now!!!!!!! My goal is 40 So I'M 3/4 the way there. Starting to think this is working :). This should make for a good day
