So I had a good weight loss weekend. For some reason the scale was up today about 1.5 pounds. Not sure why. I think I mindless ate some cookies last night. Did great on getting to the gym yesterday though. I wanted to treat myself today so I got a Burger King little burger and small fries. Bummer, not so great for 640 cals. I should have just had a grilled chicken sandwich. It's more satisfing. Well, I was taking the day off from the gym but I feel like I need to go now

I still have a way to go 14.5 pounds till I reach my goal. I'm not going make it by Sept. 22 but that's ok. I'm doing it the right way. No matter when I get there I will get there. Waiting to see if I go to work today. Will find out at 1pm or so. If I don't work this evening I will go to the gym :)

    Neither will I. I have 9 pounds to lose by Sept. 14th. Not going to make it. That last of the weight to be at goal & it is always harder to get it off. You are right, the slower we lose it the better.

Keep up the good work, you will be there before you know it.

This weekend didn't help my goal. Went camping! Lots of sugar. Oh well back on track today.

New Month

Well, busy day yesterday. I was asked ( actually told) by the staffing dept that I needed to float to our other campus ( restorative care) last night for the 1st half of my shift. We all have to take turns and I guess it was mine. Crazy, it's hard to work in an unfamiliar unit and then I was sent back to main hospital for the second half of my shift to an over flow unit for cardiac care. Not too bad. Only had 4 patients and a nurse and myself. Pretty nice end to the night. Suppose to work tonight but was called and told there were overstaffed so I have the night off. I wasn't going to gym since I was going to work so now I will. Not totally into it. Took yesterday off from the gym so I'm a little off trying to make it better

Success at eating out

I've mentioned before I have a problem over eating when I'm with my mom. Well, I took her out to a late lunch today. I had burned 870 cals on treadmill right before. I ended up ordering salad with shrimp dressing on the side , tiny piece of corn bread and water ( instead of coke) I ate everything, went easy on the dressing and feel great. So maybe I can keep this up when I go out with her.
