Great morning after super hard night

I got off work early last night was home by 7:15pm. Good and bad. All I wanted to do was eat. I know if I eat late I pay for it the next day. My husband had a meeting and bought himself taco bell on the way home. He knew since I'm on diet that he didn't need to buy me anything. It was hard to watch him eat at 10:30pm but I made it through. I had quite a bit of energy this morning. Got to the gym. Did my 65 mins and then crunches when I got home. Now I'm a sweaty mess getting to shower and go to work this afternoon. I did good but it was sure hard to not eat everything in sight yesterday :)

Wow, my abs hurt :) Good thing. Added first core workout yesterday. Shooting for Mon. Weds. Fri. For core work. Would love to get a smaller waist

The adventures at the gym continue

I'm starting to have one of those weeks :) Got to the gym around 10am. After having a hard time the day before, I knew I had to get back on the horse so to speak. I started my daily run for a mile and had another problem. My pants kept falling off ( ha) I guess these exercise pants I've had for awhile and haven 't worn them since I've lost 21 pounds. Well, running wasn't working so I switched to uphill on the treadmill and that worked. I burned a ton of calories and made everything work. Just funny way to start the workout.

learned about proper water intake today

So I started my treadmill workout today. Completed my 1 mile run in about 9.5 mins. Started my uphill fast walk which I usually do for 50 mins. I spend 65 mins on the treadmill but today I was really struggling. At the 30 min mark I usually get a second wind and complete the whole hour. Sometimes I bring water sometimes not. Today, I did not. I have never had this happen but I though I was going to pass out after 48 mins on treadmill. I was thinking my clothing ( really thick pants) were too heavy but then I realized I was totally dehydrated
I put the treadmill on level ground and walked for two minutes. Then I got water and just didn't move for a bit. I feel almost recovered but I learned the important of bringing water for a workout. I was a little disappointed I didn't finish my hour workout but passing out would have been much worst

    My water is always within arms reach, and I never exercise as long and hard as you do, perhaps, that is the reason for my steady weight, can barely seem to lose ounces let alone pounds, but take it easy my Spark Friend, and drink your water.

Summer Party

Well, I was asked to bring a pie and drinks to the party we were at yesterday. I did, but I also brought a huge vegetable dish. I filled my plate with that as well as a salad and fruit and grilled tuna. I did great ( for a party day) and was down a pound this morning. I also made sure I got my workout in before the party. Making time to do these two things ( vegetables and workout) has brought me more success this summer :)

    I've been bringing huge fruit salads or veggie dishes. I bring huge ones so I don't feel bad taking a large portion for myself :)
