Eighteen pound Mark !!

I guess I showed restraint yesterday. I though I really blew it but the scale was down this morning. I made lasagna last night. No beef. I used chicken sausage and ground turkey in my red sauce. IT WAS SO GOOD. It is one of the things I love most. I ate a small piece and a bunch of cauliflower and zucchini. Well, I did workout yesterday too. It was nice to see the scale down a pound in the morning. I'm really working on portion control :)

    Ya, that's interesting! I wonder why that is. Higher calorie after lower calorie days. I also see a drop if I stop eating earlier ( not past 5:30pm). My third child was 18 pounds at about 1.5 years of age. Wow, that makes me realize it is a big deal :)

  Yum! and Yay! I find it interesting that sometimes after being in the lower end of my calorie zone for several days, if I have one day that is higher or even slightly over, I seem to be down in weight the next day. Glad for you - 18 lbs is no small matter (it's bigger than a newborn!).

Great workout at the gym on treadmill. It really helps to have the Olympic's on while working out. I had fun yesterday cleaning out my closet. I'm 16.5 pounds down and that is about two sizes down for me :) I'm almost half way to my goal. I did the BMI calculator on sparkpeople and I'm only 2 points away from healthy instead of over or obese. Very very good. Now, I'll like to tackle the middle of me. I loss weight all over but the most seems to come off my bottom half first. I'm pretty odd shaped right now. I can wear a 8-10 in jeans but still need Large or 14 tops. Well, it will all come around and it keeps me going :)

    Funny, I never have the urge to keep anything if it's too big. But I will hang on to things if they are too small :)

    I agree it more fun working out watching the games i was there while the women were doing gymnastics may how they swing in the bars! Glad to hear cloths are getting lose. Do you have a favorite you know is to Big but just can't give away i have two.

This is just my favorite right now
Bread, Costco Torta Sandwich Roll, 0.5 serving 110 cals
Shrimp, cooked, 3 oz 84 cals
Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1 tsp 30
Mayonnaise, regular (mayo) 1 tsp 30

Grilled zuchini non stick pan
Zucchini, 1 cup, sliced 29 cals


I sprinkle with dill and toast for 5 mins

So, I worked at hospital tonight. Got home around midnight. Good night at work. Nothing I couldn't handle. Felt under control. I guess work helps my self esteem. Not eating after work. That's a hard one. Just seems like one should eat if they stay up past midnight. But it's ok

My children are 22 , 21, and 18. It doesn't seem to matter how old they are they still seem to need help :) As soon as I got to the gym today. I got a phone call right before stepping on treadmill ( I wouldn't have answered if I was already on it). It was my son (21), asking how to pay a bill and if I could do it for him since he was at work. Uh, no :) Then leaving the gym younger daughter (18) calling saying she left her name tag at home and needed it in ten mins. Could I get it and run it to her work. I got home, looked everywhere ( no name tag) then she called and said nevermind. Well, got the workout in but a little frustrating. I guess I solve too many problems in my family and they haven't learned to do it themselves. Hopefully if I'm not available they will learn. My workout helped relief the stress
