The Soulmate Secret

Friday, February 11, 2011

While away on my cruise I read Arielle Ford's "The Soulmate Secret" and the book confirmed more of the 'law of attraction' principles and truly gave me food for thought...

Feng Shui is something that has also come up a lot as a theme in my readings and it has inspired me to take action on this. While on the cruise I also met a wonderful lady who shared how she re-did her bedroom and how in 4 months she attracted her 'soulmate'...

So with the tips from the books I'm going for it!

I am going to completely RE-DO my room including getting a 'new bed' (even though the one I had wasn't too old - it held some memorie of the past that I would sooner let go to get a fresh start). I will also get new bedding, draperies, decorate and simply turn my already nice 'Zen' room into more of a room that is open and awaiting my soul mate's arrival.

I'm excited about doing up my room - including some painting. A couple of years ago I surprised the girls and re-did their rooms - now it's my turn.

If anyone wants to check out some of the great resources from this book, check the following link:

Yesterday was a long day but wonderful nonetheless.. I had my chapter meeting and despite all the technical glitches, I remained calm and proceeded to have a wonderful evening. Our speaker was great and the resources she offered definitely interested our members.

It's already Friday and plans for the weekend include a trip to the library tonight, and hanging out with my lovely girls! I've been back for almost one week... but the warmth of the wonderful trip still shines brightly inside me!

As my status says today... Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

I've not read much about Feng Shui but do cut out clutter in my life and I have applied it to my workout area- calm colours, room to manover, mirrors etc. It's my sanctuary

Good luck with your reorganising emoticon

I recently attended a Feng Shui seminar and got some helpful tips. However, I have to clean up the clutter before I can start decorating in the Feng Shui way. I know I'll feel much better once I simplify. emoticon

Now Really is NEW!

Thursday, February 10, 2011

Ralph Marston does it again ... it's like he reads my mind because today's Daily Motivator speaks to how I'm feeling in that this time, things really are different! Have a read...

Now is here, and now is not like any other time that has ever been. For right now, it doesn't matter who is to blame or what has held you back.
This is when you can take positive action. This is when you can step away from the problem and into the solution.

You are now free of past assumptions and connected to limitless possibilities. You are newly arrived in this moment, ready to live with more richness and fulfillment than ever before.

If you could choose to experience some specific positive change in your life right now, what would it be? How would it look, what would it feel like and how would it sound?

If there were one small, easily accessible step that you could take right now to begin making that change happen, what would it be? And what would be a step you could take after that?

Imagine, more vividly than ever before, living true to your most treasured dreams and highest values. Now is new, now is here, and now is when you can.

Is it me or is "LOVE" in the air?! I re-decorated my page in honor of the upcoming Valentine's Day and to reflect what I'm feeling inside... I am still not going to say much for fear of jinxing anything... but it's still really really GOOD and I think this too is NEW and different.

I read KOWLEEN's blog about how she's finding life is wonderful for her right now and you know, I have to ring in and say the same!

I have a wonderful job, wonderful kids, wonderful friends - good health, great networks and the potential for outstanding growth each and every day and all this thanks to one thing... BEING POSITIVE!!! The law of attraction at work people!!

I trusted in my heart that good things were coming to me... I was feelingzation it (you know like visualizing but really feeling it in the depths of my soul)... This is what athletes do when they prepare for their 'game' and so it is with my game now!

With my dream trip completed... the 'what's next' is planning for the summer visit the girls will have with their dad and the time we'll have to do things together. I should know more about the dates later this weekend. I'm also going to visit friends/family for Easter weekend ... and once June arrives ... I will see my dreams further realized in so many other areas... (shhhh - can't say just yet... no jinxing right?!).

Life is emoticon and the potential for my SP journey advancement is NEW too! Watch out 150Land 'cause here I come!! See you by March 1st baby!! emoticon emoticon

Mid-week already! I thought my first full week back would be tough but it's flying by.

I have not yet landed back fully in the SP routine with my exercises and all... because I'm a little side tracked with 'new' interests in my life... but I'm sure things will settle down soon (I think lol)...

A quickie blog today my friends... I continue with my daily affirmations, and look forward to the weekend so I can plan the second half of this month and get back to BUSINESS of losing weight and hitting 150Land!!

Happy Hump Day all!!

Whirlwind ... Coming in for a landing... FOCUS ON THE BEST!!

Tuesday, February 08, 2011

Well back to work yesterday flew by! I was reminded of how much I love my job as my boss sent an e-mail to the team to announce I was 'back' and to congratulate me on being spotlighted on my association's international website... check it out:

As I was sifting through all my e-mails, I also found someone from a recruiting company had contacted me about another job - saying he found my profile on Linked In and that I would be a good match for an amazing opportunity. While I was flattered... I'm happy at my current 'dream' job! I even had a voice mail from another recruiting company about another job...

The work I'm currently doing is truly satisfying and team is growing and I'm loving it so I'm not going anywhere... but it's nice to know my skills are being recognized out there!

Getting back into the swing of things is a bit of a whirlwind this week as I try to get grounded again... but I'm going to give myself a week to get settled back in (since this week is so very busy too with work, catching up and volunteering).

Jodee came over last night and we caught up (at work too as I'm lucky to have her near by there too). I'm blessed with such great friends!

My days are full - of emoticon things ... including friendships, a great career, great networking through volunteering... and now some 'love' too... While I'm being cautious and not jinxing anything by saying too much... I'm enjoying the wonderful feeling it's brought back into my life! I feel like I'm on FIRE again... with Passion and Purpose (my association's theme for the year)...

I have more catching up and follow-up to do with my new friends I made on the cruise too... Hope to get to that before week's end...

Here's another pic that I had taken when I arrived in St Maarten...

A'ye maties! I must get my bootie into gear and get this day started! Happy Tuesday all!!

PS - Back to reading my affirmations and daily motivator... great one today... My FOCUS is on all that is positive! Thanks again to all for the warm welcome back!!

Focus on the BEST!

You always get more of what you focus upon. So, what are you focused upon right now?

Are you focused on the problems, the distractions, the frustrations, the excuses, the shortcomings and the annoyances in your world? Or, are you focused on your dreams, your greatest possibilities, your positive passions, and on the things that you value most?

You can choose your focus in every moment, and by doing so you can choose the reality of your life. Though it may seem that circumstances conspire to steal your focus, they can only do so with your cooperation.

Yes, there are plenty of things that will pull your focus in a negative, destructive direction. And yet, you have the strength and the ability to persistently pull your focus back in line with your most positive and empowering intentions.

It's not that difficult to maintain your focus. It's just a matter of overriding some negative habits you may have developed.

Focusing on what's positive and productive and empowering is actually a lot of fun, and the more you do it, the more you'll like it. Focus on the best you can imagine, and watch all those good things grow more abundant in your life.

Back to SPARKING!!!

Monday, February 07, 2011

Well it's Monday - back to work, back to routine and back to SPARKING! I've missed all of you too friends!

I am going to use the week to get 'grounded' and caught up again. I got on the scale but not doing an official weigh in until either the 25th of Feb or 28th (if I follow the Going for the Goal team weigh in day of Monday's). I did gain some weight while on the cruise ... but again these are the 'yo yo' pounds I seem to fluctuate even while I'm at home so I'm not sweating it.

What I am affirming is that I WILL be in 150Land by the end of this month...

I have fulfilled my 'dream' trip and now I am re-setting my goals and focus on the 'what's next'... because goal setting is never ending!

My next trip out of town will be to visit friends/family at Easter and by then I will be near the end of the Going for the Goal challenge and I will feel FABULOUS!!

I also have some new found 'motivation' in a new interest... and since it's very new and I'm being extra cautious not going to say anything more for now. Let's just say it is uplifting my spirits in incredible ways again... and I'm enjoying the ride again! (Love is in the air ... everywhere I look around... but it didn't happen on the "Love Boat" ... it happened before my cruise - and when I wasn't looking... so we'll see how it turns out)... For now that's as much as I'm divulging.

My outlook program at home crashed so I lost all of my messages that I received while I was away. I tried to re-subscribe to all the blogs that I had been following regularly ... perhaps it was a blessing as it allows me to have a fresh start in this area too.

My work e-mail I'm sure is jam packed too so for today ... my goal at work will be to get caught up (heck it might take me the week) ...

On Saturday I have my volunteer shift for Winterlude and this month is Megan's 10th Birthday on our "Family Day" (Feb 21st) so I'll be sorting out what I'll do for that. I'm also going to look into joining a Zumba class ... I need to get out and 'danse' my bootie off (literally) and LIVE MY SPIRIT!

One of the speakers - Sonia Choquette was great in relaying this as she has people go up on stage and had them sing and dance in order to allow their spirit to shine through...

I soaked in a lot while I was away... and now going to follow-up with contacts that I've made and keep 'moving forward'...

Life is simply emoticon

I'm wishing all my SP Freinds an amazing week ahead!!
