Yes, I've started something new. I decided to give yoga a try. So far I like it. I thought I knew where all my muscles were, but I was wrong. I either have new ones or the old ones moved on me! Hopefully this new exercise will get body parts back up and in where they belong. I know y'all know what I'm talking about.
School started yesterday so it was back to working everyday. I do believe some of the teachers here need to go back to school. I have never been able to figure out why when a child gets off bus #12 stop 1 the teachers can't get that right. They will put a sticker on the child's shirt on the return home trip that says bus #10 stop 3? What the hell? Good thing we all know our kids, unless of course they are new, but still we know if they are on the wrong bus. I will never figure this out happens every year and not just the first day, oh no, it continues for about 6 weeks. Big sigh!
Expecting company so I better go.
Have a great day!

I know I've not been around much and I can't guarantee if I'll be here every day but I am still part of Spark.
I need to get my groove back and I figured what better way than this. I've been a little neglectful in my eating and so I need to get back to tracking. Now I haven't blown up like a balloon but I've put a few pounds back on and they need to go, like yesterday. LOL!!
I've been busy with taking on more responsibility at work and still trying to get my business at the next level, I know these are not excuses for not taking care of me, but it's all I have.
Joshua and I are supposed to be filming in Tulsa sometime this month. He's very excited. You all would not believe how tall he is. Some of you know because we stay in touch outside of Spark. I'll get some pictures up so you can be surprised.
Hope you all are well, I need to go chop up veggies for tonight's salad.

As some of you know where I work put a weight loss team together and I'm happy to report they are doing Fantastic! This is a 10 week competition and we are entering week 5. There are 240 teams and we have moved up from 19 to 9. Each person on the team is doing their own thing and really doing a great job. They asked me to join to be their motivator, the gals want to look like me, I don't know why, but the guys not so much, they just said they want to "catch" someone that looks like me, in their dreams! LOL!!! Anyway whatever their reason for doing this I'm very proud of them all. If they were on Spark you could all congratulate them, but sadly they are not.
I've been busy with driving the kiddos and having another route added to my day, then there is schooling Joshua who is getting so tall none of you that have met him would recognize him. PJ next time the two of you get together he's going to look like a giant next to you, he almost looks like that next to me! I'm going to have to buy a grocery store to keep him fed!
Speaking of food, Joshua and I had a new experience last week. I have a neighbor that has been eating totally raw for the last 10 years. Once a month she has a class on this at her home and they all get together for dinner and education. This is a covered dish affair. She has invited me to come many times but I either forget or I'm gone. This time she invited me and wanted me to be a guest speaker and bring a product to give away. She loves my stuff and because it's all natural and made from plants she wanted her "people" to know about it. So we went and had a nice time. Now I'm not one to eat when I don't know the person that brought the food or what's in it, I know I'm a snob, but I was raised to be polite so I took what looked safe. Now I love almost all veggies and fruit but not all spices and that's what usually turns me off, and I'm glad each person had to say what was in their dish. Some had ginger and I absolutely dislike ginger so I stayed clear of those dishes. What I did try was good, but again I like veggies, I just like some chicken or something to go with. Joshua thought it was great and wants to go again, so we probably will. The single older ladies fell in love because he helped them in and out of the house with their things. That's all I heard most of the night was what a wonderful, respectful young man I raised, with the added statement that is so rare these days. I wanted to say he's knows if he's not, there will be hell to pay when he gets home, but I didn't I just smiled and said thank you.
So if you haven't tried veggies raw why not, it is nothing new to me, what's new to me is that's all they eat, no, I want a little more. There are wonderful ways to mix them up and dress them up. The one thing I tried that really surprised me was Kale chips. Rachel, my friend, dehydrated Kale and chips is what she called it. It was actually pretty tasty, but I'm not buying a dehydrator and Kale just to make it once in a while. If I want some I'll just call my friend.
Maybe you could give this a try, it's something I make and everyone here likes it.
finally chopped celery and apples
raisins, or dried cranberries or both
honey, lemon juice and cinnamon for dressing; mix this up to your own taste it doesn't take a lot, maybe start with the tablespoon that comes with your stainless, a few drops of lemon juice and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The amount of dressing is dependent upon the amount of salad.
As you see from this you are never too old to learn something new.
Have a terrific Tuesday and continued success on your journey!

If you believe the title of this then I have some ocean front property to sell you!
Friday was the day that Joshua and I went to Lawrence to be in a movie. We had such a great time! He is really hooked now and wants to pursue this as a career. I told him fine but the next jobs had to be in bigger films that paid, this is a very small low budget independent that couldn't pay extras, which is OK and a great way to start but he needs to move up the ladder.
I think the moving up won't take long and we both made great contacts. He for what he wants and I for my business. This was a trip that paid off.
The film has 6 major roles that were filled by what they call "B" Lister's and TV personalities, but hey they all know everyone. My company is a sponsor of the film and my products will be in it as well as being named in the credits. I gave the 6 principles gift baskets of my products as part of the sponsorship and they all seemed thrilled. They used my truck with the logo but they aren't sure how well it will come out in the finished product. I'm OK, it's a start and it will only get better. I made friends in the right places and I'll use that to my companies advantage. The really handsome one told me if the products I gave him smelled half as good as I did he was going to have to chase the women off. This guy also kissed me so now I'm going to have the dirtiest face ever 'cause I don't want to wash if off! Joshua said if that was the case I won't be taking a shower 'cause the guy was always hugging me. Thanks, Joshua! The one actress and I seemed to be instant friends and she told me to use her name when I called studios to do product placement in up coming films and TV. How cool is that? OK, I'll tell you who the handsome guy is Matthew Del Negro. He played in the Sopranos and the sexy mechanic Giovanni in Rizzoli and Isles. I didn't even think to ask him to hook me up with Angie Harmon, darn! He's done more but I figure those are the ones more people would recognize. He's a super nice guy and married.
I did take a few pictures but they didn't come out well enough to pass on and that is a bummer.
So that is how my Friday in the movie went. I'm ready to do it again!
I do have pictures of my peacock. No, you haven't missed the finished product. I don't have it framed because I haven't found exactly what I want, but it's ready to go whenever I do.
No the glass is not dotted that is the board I build on showing through.
Wishing you all great success on your journey and meeting your goals. Have a great Sunday!
