Got to the gym today, after a couple weeks of only being able to walk, because I was traveling or busy. Looks like I lost 2 pounds over the last few weeks, especially last week.
Doesn't sound like much, but it's some of the first weight lost I've really had in 10 years. I was so excited to check the scale because by the end of the week, several of my pants were fitting looser and I was hopeful instead of dreading the number.
What's more, it was pretty painless. I walked a lot and ate sensibly, with a salad and veggies or fruit at every meal, fewer carbs and only a single serving of meat. This is a change I can live with.
