I had a nice walk on the treadmill this morning. Even though I really didn't want to go to the gym at all.
The great workout I did yesterday ended up being a little too great. I have sore shoulders and calves. (Note to self: don't try to get a PR on a workout you haven't done in a month.)
But a half hour on the treadmill did a good job of warming up and loosening up my muscles. It just plain felt good after the first couple of minutes.
Which is a great reminder not to skip workouts. In fact I need to try to add in walking every day, not just rely on my training runs.
