Trying to get back on track.

Saturday, February 08, 2014

After taking several weeks off, I am now ready to get back on track. Problem is I am not motivated at all. So I have decided to do at least one healthy thing today. Then tomorrow I will do 2 healthy things, and keep adding until the week ends. These things may seem small to some of you but right now I am not doing anything healthy, so anything would be an improvement. My choices are drinking a glass of water (I haven't had one full glass of water in a while), eating a serving of vegetables, or exercising 10 minutes a day.

They don't seem to small at all! I am in the same boat and am working on making small goals. My problem is always thinking I need to co everything right away. I think you're doing great!

A different kind of loss

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

My dad passed away over the weekend. I am very sad. I am glad he went to be with our Father in Heaven and is no longer suffering, but it still hurts. I will miss him dearly.

Having a set back this week

Saturday, January 25, 2014

First my phone died and I wasn't able to track my calories on my fitness pal. Then I got a cold and just haven't been eating very well. I'm ready to get back on track. I bought a new phone today and plan on starting to track my foods again tomorrow. Sometimes the smallest things can get you off track. I know I'm only human and I'm not beating myself up about it. But I do know how important it is to get back on track right away. Glad I have my husband and Spark to support me! emoticon

Good for you for jumping back in!!! I messed up this Thursday if it makes you feel any better. I was a ball of nerves and did well all day and just blew it at the end of the day. But.....
Got right back to it like you are doing. Keep it up! You are doing great!!!!

Haven't done it in over a week. Yikes! Just not into it this year. On the other hand I have been eating great and drinking lots water. I've lost 8 lbs so far. I hope I can keep on losing considering I'm not working out. I hope I get the desire to exercise soon. I feel great, but when I think about working out my brain says "No thanks" Lol

Too Funny! Eating right is the biggest part of loosing weight. So you are off to a good start.
That is what I am working on the most and then exercise. So you are doing good at 8 pounds lost.
I can't help but notice we are almost at the same weight and goals. emoticon

A week of progress

Tuesday, January 07, 2014

The first week went by smoothly. I managed to stay within my calories everyday, drank 8 glasses of water everyday, and worked out for at least 10 minutes 6 out of the last 8 days. I didn't have any doubt the first week would go well. I hit the ground running this week. It's the next week that will prove to be the challenge. I hope my motivation and determination stays strong.
