Boy, am I noticing lately just how bad my posture is sometimes! I have a heightened awareness of just how often I am slouching when sitting, slumping when sitting and not standing tall when walking. I guess those realizations are a good thing because when I become aware of them I do sit up straight and stand up taller!
Weird how unnatural it feels to pull up out of my torso, you'd think it would feel better but it actually feels like I have to work consciously to make it happen. A bit like needing to consciously suck in my stomach, it's work! But that's a blog post for another day! Bottom line is that Improved posture helps to release tension, build muscle, and give you energy and an instantly taller, slimmer-looking physique. For the moment I am going to sit up & take notice!
