I have been on some kind of weight loss, fitness or self improvement quest all of my adult life. My motivation has waxed and waned over the years. I have tried more diets and fitness plans than I can count. I have had successes and I have backslid sometimes. Recently I noticed that things have gotten very stale for me, something that can put me on the fast track to relapse. Earlier this month I decided I really needed to change things up again and get a 1000 watt recharge from somewhere. I honestly can't remember how I stumbled across the Spark People Site but I am very glad that I did!
Being fairly new to this Spark People community (just into my second week) I am still in the honeymoon phase, excited by all of the prospects and possibilities for change and for improving my life.
Something that I think that I've known all along but had drifted away from for a while is that being my best self takes a lot of effort! It's back in my consciousness in full force again! This site has been a wonderful reminder for me of the many, many, many, things that I can do to improve the quality of my health and physical, emotional and mental well being.
I am cognizant of the need to track my food and fitness. To monitor sleep and hydration, to make time for fun and relaxation to take care with my posture and to keep my outlook positive.
Thanks Spark Community for all that you have already done to reignite me as I continue on my way.
