It is was a very hard day for me and my family, but it was so nice to see so many of you stopping and giving me such up lifting encouragement. I really felt loved by all of you THANK YOU again

A Really Rough Day

Today is my oldest daughters birthday 42 years ago I gave birth to my first child, a girl she weighed 5lbs and 6 ozs a little girl for sure. She was on 18 1/2 inches long but this child had a full head of dark brown hair and it looked liked the tips were frosted blond.

This bundle of joy was a precious gift from my Lord and I adored her so much , She was such a good baby never had an once of trouble with her as a baby. Of course there were the turmoil's of childhood and adolescence that drove us both crazy but we survived.

As a teenager she got involved with the wrong bunch of kids and was doing drugs I was so hurt and upset I couldn't figure out what I had done to make this happen to my perfect child. As timed pasted she on and off the drugs and I had to play the tough love role which so killed me, I cried a lot as I'm sure any mom would.

Time went by and she married and had 2 children one of each we love them so much and she was clean and sober. Then back to the old friends again a divorce and hubby of hers took the children and left for Alaska. My child is not going to fight for them because she knows she can't get clean to do that.

But yet another marriage and 2 more boys and she is doing fine clean and sober.
Yippie Her oldest child by second marriage is grown up and married her youngest is 14 and things are going well for most part. Happy for once we are all getting it together again.

42 years ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that I loved with all my heart.
7 months ago the Lord took my child by the way of a heart attack and stroke. She died visiting my son and although he preformed CPS on her it was to late. Nothing could be down.

Just needed to share this and let you know please let no grass grown under feet always be there and love your friends and family because you just never know when the Lord is going take them away from you. "I Love You" are words people say but please mean them

42 years ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and 7 months ago I lost her.

When I first joined Spark People I ran across this and felt it was worth repeating. I don't know just where I found this I was new didn't know anything about spark yet.

Today I promise I will not quit, I pledge that no matter how many ups and downs I pass through, I will continue on my journey. I pledge to make a NEW START today, and forgive myself for my past, and to stop being so critical of myself, to stop making excuses, and stop blaming other people or situations. I pledge to treat myself as I would my Best Friend, because that is who I am. I pledge to stay in the race and be a winner.

I really think this says it all Don't you?

Grand-daughter coming over

It's Tuesday and nothing really happening here I do have my grand-daughter coming here after school today. I really like Tuesdays Melissa My grand-daughter is 17 and every Tuesday she comes here after school she usually does her homework while DH and me cook dinner, then we all eat together. Reminds me of when my children where home.

She stays until her mom gets out of college and comes to pick her up somewhere around 10:00 So we always have a nice visit.

DH and I always enjoy having her around. Bless her she always says Nana can I do anything to help you. I never need her to do stuff just be here is all the help I need Love her so and It is nice to see a child of 17 care that much for their grandparents. What's even better is that her 19 year sister and 21 year brother are the same. Always stopping by just to say HI and see if there is anything they do for us.

WHAT I GAVE ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY

YIPPIE HURRAY and good for me. I gave myself a wonderful Birthday present today

Last week was awful I had taco bell for dinner and I ate the whole thing and gained OUCH!!!

Today is Birthday and I am 61 I don't feel that mature. I feel young and heart especially since I got ups this morning and got on the scale. Drum roll please I lost 3 pounds. Now how can any one beat that for their birthday. That makes 1 pound shy of 30 pounds. I can honestly say I owe so much to you guys for the support I am getting. You all have helped to make me think positive on a daily basis and not give up.

Under normal circumstances and no SP in my life the first time I gained would have been the last time I tired.

Not only did I loose 3 pounds for my birthday but more importantly I gained the friendship of the Spark Family that I have come to love so much and really can't imagine having my life with out.
