Sunny Tuesday

Tuesday, March 06, 2012

It is great to see the sun shining so bright. Kim and I will be running around today and enjoying mother/daughter time. Hope to go to Barnes and Noble to get the spark cookbook. This has been fun but am ready to get home in my own bed. Couldn't weigh in for they have no scale but will do so when I get home. I cheated a little yesterday but hope it doesn't hurt the weight any. Got some new sweats and a beautiful sweater for $5. a piece. What a buy! The treadmill is done not must shower and get ready to explore. emoticon Healthy day to all.

The boys got home last night and were tired out so all went to bed early. This morning I am getting their laundry caught up and going to run over to Hartford for awhile. They are all off to school and work. Kim says her plane will be in about 3:30. Going to make a good meal for them all tonight. Will have time with her tomorrow and then head home on Wednesday. Sounds like the 50s so it will be great traveling. emoticon Grandson here informed me he got a part in the spring play, so we will be coming back out when they do it.

Things going well

Sunday, March 04, 2012

Let see, shovelled snow yesterday morning so we could get out. We went to West Bend and shopped for Sierra's birthday present. We then stopped for a sandwich and salad before going to the pottery place down the road from her house and painted. I got a purse bank and Sierra got an Penquin statue. We had fun doing it. I need to go back and pick them up on Tuesday after they are fired in the kiln. Last night we watched movie she bought and had papcorn for our supper. As usual I was early this morn so got on the treadmiil for 15 min. then hubby called from South Dakota so stopped and talked with him. Catching up on here to see how all my friends are doing and then it is off to church and Sunday school for Sierra. Plan on coming home afterwards and she wants to make cake pops. I will stay strong and not eating one. I think they are going to be chocolate, which I can't eat, so that helps. Even thought I love chocolate but get sick after having. The boys will be home tonight and daughter on Monday. It is snowing again this morning so hope it clears by Wednesday when I have to head for home.

Hope all are having a good weekend and staying on track. So far loving this journey and the friends I have made on here. GO TEAM!!!!

Friday and I made it.

Friday, March 02, 2012

Left early this morning for Wisconsin. Ran into snow at the Dells and then rain alittle further on. Just got into Slinger as the snow was starting to fall. It is heavy and very wet and coming down hard. Had to go pick up granddaughter at school and worried about getting back up their driveway. Guned it and made it with lots of sliding. They say close to 8 inches, which I'm not thrilled about. Sierra and I might not be doing much this weekend. Weighed this morning before I left and did take off another .5 pds. So only i away from the goal I wanted to come here.

Glad you made it and even if you don't do a whole bunch of things this weekend........time spent with a loved one is priceless. Enjoy your visit and stay safe. Got to go shovel our snow. emoticon emoticon

Sounds like you made it there just in time. I have a spark friend whose daughter is stranded at an airport in Wisconsin because of the snow. Congrats on dropping 0.5 pounds. Make good healthy choices while you are there. Enjoy your visit!!!
