In the high 90s today again so plan on doing the treadmil inside. Cleaned house this morning and getting some washing done. I am to help serve a funeral this afternoon with my circle. Grandson plays ball again tonight, almost hope it rains so they don't have to be in the heat. Some like chace of storms later in day, we need the rain, and that will help it cool off.

Getting very excited about our trip. I will weigh in on Saturday instead on Sunday to see where I am at before we leave. Goal was to hit 185 by then so we will see if I make it or not. But if not I am pleased at my progress. Lets just hope I don't blow it on the trip. A bus trip to Memphis and Nashville is going to be great. Back is feeling good and I try to take it easy so it will stay that way. The shots seemed to work this time. Taking off the weight I am sure has helped also. emoticon


On the move again

I weighedin on Sunday and had lost a pd but was tempted today and stepped on again to find I dropped another 2. My body works in such strange ways. I suppose I will be struck here for a month now but am happy for what I get.

June is coming to an end and we are leaving for a bus trip on Saturday. I am so excited to get away and see sites. We will ge gone 8 days. There should be lots of walking so it is the eating that I will have to watch real close. Plan on sticking in a couple of apples. I will have my kindle fire with me so hopfully in the hotels I can still get on the site and keep up with everyone.

The trip on lost is long but we will all make it happens. Faith and commintment is the challenge and can be conquered. emoticon emoticon

Another weekend to start

The shot went fine, was really hurting last night but this morning is better. Just feel very shaky today and can't do any excercise till Monday. The steroid they put in can cause weight gain. I didn't need to hear that. Have to take it with a smile and just hope it isn't to bad. No plans for the weekend, depends on how I feel what we might do. Need to be sure I am ok before next weekend when we leave on our motorcoach trip.

As usual the dark clouds can in last night but passed us by with no rain. We need it so bad. So far at least the wind has died down so don't feel like you will blow away.

I am so tired of this wind all the time.. We need rain so bad but the storms roll on by us without a drop.

I will be heading out soon for another shot in my back. Not looking forward to it at all. They insist I do it so I will be ok on our trip coming up. I hate to pain of it. That means missing the salad luncheon at church which I was suppose to help with. Took in two salads for them. It is a fun day with the theme of tea pots this year.

I am having a battle with the scale but decided not to let it get me down. As long as I keep watching what I eat and do my treadmill every day plus some ball workout I figure my body is doing good. Old habits sometimes tempt me but i am fighting the urge.

Would like to camp this weekend but have to see how I feel first after my shot. Usually down for a few days afterwards. emoticon

I wish I could figure out what I am doing wrong. I just keep bouncing back and forth from 187 to 189. I know it is something I have to correct but not sure what. I measured the nches and they haven't changed either. Now getting worried about our trip, that I will gain. What to do - what to do.

The cooler days are nice. Plan to walk the mile to work today, do 2 hours and then back home, 1 mile. Ball game tonight in Humbolt so will go down early to visit my parents graves before hand. Two more days and I get another shot in my back.

    Don't be too hard on yourself....if you are staying within your calorie range (not too little/not too much), drinking your water (I found this to be ultra important, especially when I know the sodium is higher than it should be) and getting in some exercise (know you are doing this).....the weight will come off. Keep reminding yourself this is a journey to be taken not an on/off diet....."Trust the process. As long as you are embracing healthy habits, changes are happening within you".......I have gone to this quote many times and I just try to except the ups and downs.....I also know that for me at least the hot weather plays a part in the up/down scale #'s too..... emoticon
