WOW it's early this morning and i didn't workout...I feel like poo. but i'm going to work and hopefully I will feel better to get in a good workout this evening.
Hope today at work goes fast.

Today I did my first 5k for the year...I only walked it but did it in 50 mins...which is about what I was shooting for. I'm hoping to do another one in April and hopefully do the "Walk Wisconsin" 1/4 marathon in June.
Do have to say when I started out the this morning walking I was cold but half way through I was sweating. My legs feel like rubber right now but it's a good feeling and will worth it.
Now I just need to pick up my pace and maybe add a little jog into it.

To pick up your pace with some jogs, when you're out for your walks and feeling great, pick a landmark...a tree, a mailbox, whatever and tell yourself to jog to that point.....if you find yourself breathing too hard or struggling, slow it down and when you have recovered continue on....maybe the first time you try this, you will need to quit and walk...but every time you try it you WILL be able to go further and the day that you do it without dying, LOL, you will feel as though you crossed another finsih line!

Sunday workout

Today I got on my WII for over an hour...can't believe it's been so long since i've been on it. It was fun just playing around on all the wii fit workouts. Then I did a 10 min kettlebell workout. I did have some kettlebells already, but last night when we went to menards I found some gold gym kettlebells on clearance so I picked up 2 more bigger weights then what I have been using, and wow what a difference another 5 or 10# makes.

Were suppose to get a snow storm this evening so I hope the drive to work tomorrow isn't to bad. So glad i'm car pooling with my hubby tomorrow.

Well did some shopping today...walking the mall was my exercise. Had a successfully day finding what I was looking for...I did get way to much stuff for my grand baby...OOHH well she is worth it. Seems like I can get more accomplished shopping by myself than I can when my hubby is along.
I ate at noodles and was the first time I've eaten there and it was good. I had the Japanese Pan Noodles which was very good. But then I has the craving for a McDonalds shamrock shake. I only get one a year so today was the day.
Tonight I get to watch my grand baby for the night and all day tomorrow, she's been sick so I hope she is good...Guess it won't matter or not she's mine and i'll love her up. That's was grandma's do.

Well this morning I went to my "Fit Moms for life" class which is like a 20/20/20 class 20 mins of strength 20 mins of cardio and 20 mins of abs. It was a awesome work out and the class is free. The instructor found the workout info on line though and made her own workout....Dustin has come to her house and made her a fitness coach.
After the fit moms class I then did a 45 min kettlebell class...I should be good now for the day and tomorrow will be a rest day for me.
I also need to start training for a 5K that the other instructor in putting together the end of March...Looks like I need to get going on that one.
