Didn't workout today had a touch of the flu...hopefully tomorrow i'll feel better.
I think going to work today was a workout enough.

    I just read yesterday on Spark that you shouldn't exercise when you have the flu anyway (as well as upper respiratory infections), so it sounds like you did the right thing. Get better!

super bowl or no super bowl???

Really wish the super bowl was on a little earlier...so I don't think i'm going to watch to much of it tonight.
Today is my last day of vacation so I think I will need to go to bed a little early tonight, so I get up tomorrow.
Hate the fact that I have to go back...I had such a great time off taking care of my grandbaby...but I do miss all my babies at the daycare.

February goals and last day with baby

For February I want to do 3 days of strenght training Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays and Cardio on Tuesday and Thursdays...I i'm going to TRY and get in 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins in the evening..Hopefully I can stick to it MOST days..I'm not going to cry about it if I don't get in both times, but I WILL get in at least 30 mins each day. I also plan on doing the 20/20/20 class at least twice during the month of Feb on Sat. morning.
I going to drink at least 12 glasses of water each day and track my foods...These are my goals for the month and also for lent which started on the 13th.

Today is our last day/evening with Daelyn the kids should be landing in MN around 6ish pm then to get out of the airport could be at least an hour then it's a 3 hour drive to our house... I plan on having things washed and their jeep packed with everything, so when they get here all they will need to do it pack up baby and their dog and head home...which is about another 20 to 30 min drive. I do have to say were going to miss our little lovebug.
Think were going to have to go over there tomorrow just to check on everything...i'm sure they will be just chilling and loving their baby up!!!

    What I like about your goals is that you have built in the life factor...you are reaching toward the stars but knowing that sometimes you might not quite make it but that doesn't mean you're not stretching.

I guess the skype conversations will be going the other way now! Baby's going to miss gramma and grampa as much as you will miss baby!

    Great goals for February! I know you will miss having the baby there with you. I am taking care of my granddaughters in April, so there parents can go to Las Vegas for my daughter's birthday. My granddaughters are 12 and 16 though, so not quite so much fun as yours!

baby day 7

Well this morning wasn't as good as usually...the baby channel was down channel 9400 on dish...It's hard to believe that a 5 month old watches tv and knows what she watching...It's funny just because when we try and change the channel she'll start to yell at us...we have to just laugh when we do it and we do it just to tick her off. But the channel did come back on later in the morning..until then I had to turn on some other different shows.

Grandpa took a 1/2 day of vacation today....for one it was really really cold out and he was working outside and two he just wanted to spend more time with Dealyn.
Tomorrow is last day with her, but we do have almost all day...The kids won't be home until latter in the evening.

I did get in two separate 40 min workouts today and I did get most of my water intake in I also tracked my foods today and stayed within my calorie range.

Vacation with baby day 6

Once again mommy and daddy were up early to see baby on skype..it's very cute how a 5 month old knows were to look at the computer to see mommy and daddy.

Daelyn took a 2 hour nap for me today so I got in a 50 min workout plus some weight training...I guess you can get workout in when you put your mine to it.

The other grandma called today just to say hi...we had a great chat and Daelyn had a big smile on her face listening to her voice.

I know I need to work better on getting my water intake up instead of drinking coffee...but it's cold out and coffee just warms me up!!! LOL

So that's all for today ....we'll see what tomorrow brings.

    Amazing how babies know the people in their lives! And I think that long nap was a thank you to gramma and you sure put it to good use!

Lately I have been heating water in the microwave with some lemon, lime or other juice added to give it a little pizzaz. It's gotten to be something I look forward to.
