Vacation day 1

Well my vacation started yesterday 1/25...I get to watch my granddaugher Daelyn for the next week. Mommy and Daddy are going to Mexico.
Mommy did text me this morning to she how she was doing...I have to said she a very very good sleeper...she slept from 7:30 last night until 5:30 this morning. She don't very good naps during the day though....I don't know when i'm going to fit in my exercise this week, but i'll try as hard as I can...but is loving Daelyn count as exercise??? LOL

I'll keep you posted on how my week goes.

Well it's almost 2 weeks into the new year and I do have to say i've been doing good with my workouts and eating plan and tracking what I have been eating here on SP.

Today I was planning on going out with a couple of friends to do a little zumba and then go to lunch...but when I woke up I had a migraine from hell...I felt bad to had to cancel but they all understood.

I am feeling a little better now but the migraine is still hanging on a little...guess I need to rest some more and hope that I don't come down with that nasty flu that's going around our area.

Holiday begins

Well the work week is now over and and the Holiday begins...I do have to say that I appreciate all the gifts that I received for all my daycare parents....but it's not the gifts the I do care about it's the fact that they ( the parents) appreciate all the I do for there child/children.
It didn't have to be a gift but just a card saying.... Thank you...That's we needed.

Today i'm going to my parents to celebrate Christmas and I know what my parents are giving us, but once again it's just the card and what they write in it...To me that's what makes Christmas for me. And I have to say spending time with my family is the greatest!!!

p.s. Were having Christmas with my Children on Christmas day!!!

    So much about the holiday and what it is really about has been masked by the whole mega shopping focus....when the Christmas music starts to be played in the stores (this year I noted it in October) it puts me in a bah humbug mood....sad. Your post is what it really is about...not the gifts, not the lights, not the parties...there is a reason for the season and the way we honor that is to say thanks, appreciate the small things and treasure our families. Merry Christmas!
