I seen this in one of my magazines
The flat layer of your palm = 1 ounce of nuts
The palm (no thumb or fingers) =3 ounces of meat
Your fingertip = 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
Your fist = 1 cup cold cereal, brown rice or cooked oatmeal
Peace sign fingers (from the knuckles up) = 1 ounce cheese
Your index finger (from the knuckle up) = 1 tablespoon olive oilor peanut butter

I did know some of these but some I haven't seem before...hope you enjoy!!

Well today I had the day off and worked outside on my flower gardens all day long. It was great to get some much need sun.
Afterwards I picked up the latest book by Nicholas Sparks (The best of me) sat out in the sun and read the first few chapters...have to say it's kinda hard to but down.
Tomorrow it's back to work, but only for 3 days and then another 3 days off...man I love just being home....wish money would grow on trees!!!LOL

My kids just found out today that their going to have a baby girl!!! Their due in August, but i'm one pumped grandma!!!
It's our first so it's going to be spoiled!!!

The price is right!

Well today instead of sitting down watching the price is right I decided to walk in place the whole time the show was on...didn't think I would do it but I did.
I wore my pedometer and all together within the hour I had almost 3000 steps...So it worth just walking in place anytime you want to watch your favorite show.
So for me today the price was right!!!
Now I have only 7000 more steps togo.
