Shattered and feeling ill

Friday, February 18, 2011

I woke up today so TIRED! I did a really good run yesterday, and felt great afterwards, and then woke up today feeling kind of fluy. WHen I got into work and there were kitkats everywere, I couldn't help mysel, I had two, which took me WAY over my Kcals limit. I think if I had had more energy I could have resisted, but I was so drained! Oh well, a nice lie in tomorrow.

I'm still determined to meet my 7 days of exercise, especially as my weights and mat came today (my rewards for losing the first 4lbs)! I might just look for a yoga video on youtube and do something relaxing. I'm not use to doing cardio that doesn't make me sweat, but it'll probably be good for me.

I'mweighing myself on Sunday, tbh I don't think I will have lost alot this week. I'll be happy to have maintained or maybe lost 1lb, I'm not asking for more. The fact that I have lost 1" off my waist is good enough news for this week.

SO, in conclusion, an early night and then a fresh start tomorrow.

Beans on toast for tea I think as well emoticon emoticon ULTIMATE comfort food.

Great job getting a healthy reward for your weight loss! That is so cool. And I think you are on the right track switching up you rutene a bit. You work different muscles that way. Cool! emoticon Megan emoticon

Hump day-hmmm

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

Not really much to say today. My flatmate was out, so I did some areobics rather than a run. I don't like to do exercise in front of her as she is so slim already, I feel a bit silly. So when she's out, I tend to do cardio indoors and then when she is here, I go running. Because again, she can't see me jiggling. I haven't really burnt as much as I would if I had run, but I'm going to work my way up to running 4/5 times a week rather than 3. Next week is a week off school so I'm gonna try a few extra then.

Otherwise, not much left to report. Hope everyone else is doing well!

Day three of seven days of exercise

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

I didn't do so well on my eating today, went over by quite a bit. I know why though, I shouldn't succumb to a cookie here and a mouthful of pie there. So I'm not freaking out-which makes a nice change. I'm going for another run tomorrow, which I am looking forward to. I wonder if my little friend will be there? emoticon

Seven days of exercise-day two, and a little visitor on my run!

Monday, February 14, 2011

So, I went for another run today. I didn't run as far as yesterday. but when I think about it, it's probably because I should have allowed myself a running rest day, so I'm not stressing out too much about it. My legs and body will adjust to the pace in time I imagine. My run was interesting today though! I was joined halfway through by a random 12 year old girl. I don't really know why-there I was running along, minding my own business and there she was, running next to me! It kind of made me laugh, because she was perfectly cheery, and just jogging along side me! So I asked her if she was a regualar runner, and she said no, just a fast one. So, of course, we kind of had a race, and then she got bored and jogged off. It did make me smile.

Food wise, I've done ok so far. I had a kit kat at work, but nothing to panic about. I just need to eat something now, I'm starving!

How cute! My daughter is 12 and says she wants to get into running too. She gets side stitches easily (I remember getting them easy as a kid too) so she'll have to work her way up to it!
I would love to have grown up a runner and been fit as an adult! Better late than never I suppose.
