I just read one of the articles, about motivation and it reported that you should not eat in front of the television, so that you can focus on your food. I laughed when I saw that because my television is on 24 hours a day. A lot of times, i leave it on when I leave the house. Today I will turn my tv off for three hours and not eat in front of the tv.

I grew up in a family of five kids, and I had 40 cousins, we were all similar in age. I would get hand me downs from my younger aunt, who was "pleasantly plump". She was always fashinonable and wore cute clothes. Several years ago, my older sister, sent my daughter some tennis shoes that her daughter outgrew, but they were black and my daughter was in her pink stage!! She refused to wear them, but I always kept them stored away. Tonight as I was unpacking some things in my room, I ran across the tennis shoes. I was looking for my own tennis shoes. I looked at the tennis, they are the size ten I wear, but a medium width. I always required a double wide because of the swelling in my feet. I looked at the tennis and I had the thought, I could wear these shoes. I tried them on and they fit!! They are a 10 medium!!! The swelling has decrease to a level were I can wear a normal shoe. I have had them on for about three hours. I am getting them ready for the morning walk.!! Now I am going to walk with Leslie Sansone in them. They will be ready for the morning walk.

I am so tired tonight. I do not why, because I have been sitting most of the day.. I start exercising and then i sit for days. I got to geet out of this habit.

    You are probably tired because you are not moving and your blood is not pumping - try a little each day and I am sure you won't be so tired.

Stage Two

I am starting stage two and I have to track food and get that exercise in every day, I also modify my goal to lose 26 lbs before tthe end of the year. I have more than one hundred to lose and having all there, sometimes was to much for me. I have lost about 15 when I started Sparkpeople and another 5lbs. I had to also modify my weighing myself because I am getting overwhelmed. I am going to do this!!!!

I am feeling anxious this morning about going out. I got to get on top of this anxiety and not get in a runt about staying in the house.

  Start with something small like just going out in your yard if you are feeling anxious about leaving the house . I deal with anxiety of my own ,and I know how tough it can be . Best wishes to you !
