Retrying this ... (Day #1)

I noticed today that my last post was in April. I also noticed that I have not been working out and had been eating a lot of sweets. I have not been tracking my nutrition nor my fitness. So I have decided to retry this whole fitness thing and SP again.
How do I plan to do this?
Today I set forth with a goal of 30 days straight fitness for 30 minutes per day. I am getting my fiance involved as well as my dog. My honey and I will benefit from spending time together and the dog will benefit from getting to smell new places. I am also starting a nutrition class in about a week at the college I attend.
I would also like to take a photograph per day of working out to give myself more motivation to do so.
(I did take a picture today but I am having some connection problems at the moment with the new camera so I will upload later.)

    I'm restarting after more than a year off! I actually started back at stage and step one. Set goals that have a snowballing affect and don't forget to have fun with this!

  Thank you emoticon I find that if I think of it one day at a time it will be much easier than thinking of it for a lifetime and getting upset for letting myself down if I miss a day and just deciding to give up all together.

10 pounds!

This week it hit me like a ton of bricks... I want to be feminine. I want to wear fancy shoes, beautiful earings and cute dresses. Tonight as I talked to my sister she told me she acredits it all to my working out and buiding self confidence. I am so excited to see what I will look like in just a few short months. Right now I wear big shirts so no one sees my "fat rolls" and jeans but never shorts. I do not wear high heals and hardly wear make up with my hair in a bun all the time. I have reverted into a old woman look. Heck, I only get to live once and I am 26 I need to look it and feel it. I am so excited to see the changes working out can do!

Triathlon

Wow! So I worked out this morning and surprised myself a bit. I was easily able to push through 3.5 miles of walking on the treadmill at an incline of 9 and bike ride 6 miles this morning in an hour and a half combined time. This got me thinking... if I am just starting off in my exercising wouldn't it be amazing if I could keep this up and do a mini triathlon this year. So I quickly looked one up and found a great one that sounds perfect for me and will be held in October (2 weeks before my wedding, just after my birthday). I think I can do it! I have 6 months to train and I already have a personal trainer. We shall see....

I have been working out super hard but now need the communication with others to keep on going. I have been working out about 5 hours a week in the gym...working on getting ready for my November wedding emoticon. I am back now so that I can keep track of my eating and get the encouragement found in others.
