Wow, i can't believe it's been probably 6 months since i've been on SP. I tried to log in the other day to check calories in a recipe and couldn't get in. I was soooo afraid that i was booted off for in activity. All my tracking and 50+ lbs of weight loss ups and downs are on here. Luckily it was just my computer acting funny!! I'm not saying i'll be able to devote as much time as i had in the past (my work computer doesn't like the site for some reason), but i'd like to get "back on track"

The good thing is that i haven't gained everything back. Looking at my last post in May 03, 2011 i was around 148. Monday i weighed in at 158, 10 lbs(!) but i believe most of that is the holiday weight. Half my holiday weight usually comes off pretty quickly once i get back into the groove. I'll probably be back at 153-ish which is where my body feels pretty happy. Fortunately, this is MUCH better than the 207 i was once at, but it's still "overweight". I'm looking to be 135-ish and a size 6 or so. I've been within 5 lbs of 153 for 3 years or so now, and i'm both pleased (that i haven't gained my 50+ lbs back) and displeased because i've not made my goal. I do say that i dont have a whole lot of blame to give besides myself. I dont eat super well. I exercise a decent amount, but could always do more.

Anyhoo, just felt like letting it all out. Thanks for listening. I'm not one for New Year's resolutions, but i do hope i can work on eating better this year. To my health!

    Sorry I didn't see this until now, but welcome back! I hope you're still checking in occasionally. We're out in Vegas now, and not sure how long we'll be here or if we'll be moving again, so I haven't been on much either. Hope all is well with you!

Supreme 90 - one month down. AND MY BIRTHDAY!

OK, i dont have a lot to post about Supreme 90, i did do a few more workouts and am back on track. I'm not really counting my weight for today - since i ate (awesome) Lebanese food last night and cake and ice cream (wahoo), so i'm sure it's just bloat. I'm not disappointed. I'm still down a pound total. I reserve the right to edit with my real weekly weight tomorrow if it looks better ;)


Starting: 149.6, 31.1% body fat
Week 1: 150.0, 31.2% (+.04)
Week 2: 149.0, 31.0% (-1.0)
Week 3: 147.8, 30.7% (-1.2)
One month: 148.6, 30.8% (Down 1 lb and .3% body fat in a month)

What i really want to blog about is how awesome my husband is. I hope to add some pics, but my awesome hubby bought me 2 large professional tumbling mats for our karate take downs! Also, he mirrored one entire wall of our workout room! YES, one entire wall mirrored, nicely. I can now constantly check my form when i work out, and check on my karate. How awesome. He also bought a great shelving unit for my workout tv, dvd player and all my dvds and weights. As you can tell, i only workout at home (and karate class). I now have it better than some gyms. AMAZING! He is the best!!!!! Hopefully pics to come!

Supreme 90 - starting week 4!

So last week was Holy week to Easter, which meant church EVERY night. I only got in ONE Supreme 90 workout. Oh well, church was worth it. Now though, i have an ear infection. I really miss my workouts! I can't wait to get back into it. Tomorrow's karate, and then hopefully Thursday i can get back to my Supreme 90 workouts!

Starting: 149.6, 31.1% body fat
Week 2: 150.0, 31.2% (+.04)
Week 3: 149.0, 31.0% (-1.0)

    I hope you had a wonderful Easter! I hear you on missing your workouts though, whenever my exercise schedule gets disrupted, I miss it a lot. Take care of that ear infection, those can be really unpleasant. Looking forward to hearing more about your workouts!

Supreme 90 - week 3 (?) and Happy Easter!

Ok, so i put the ? mark in the title because i dont know if you can really count this as week 3 of Supreme 90. I believe i'm only on "day" 11 of the program because (like usual) life got in the way. It is not for lack of trying!!! With Easter coming up, i've been spending a lot of nights in church (except tonight, in which i am playing hooky, i'll be there every night this week, twice on friday, twice on saturday... ) That's the way we Orthodox do it. Soooo, my workouts are taking the back seat (and for a good reason). Anyway, i'm logging in a blog for my weight tracking.

Week 1: 149.6, 31.1% body fat
Week 2: 150.0, 31.2% (+.04)
Week 3: 149.0, 31.0% (-1.0)

I know there's nothing scientific to the scale, and i just have to laugh at it. Last week i worked out hard and ate right and gained. This week i didn't work out and didn't eat fantastically and lost. It's so minute a difference, but comical. Sunday i'll be "back on the meat" (only fish for the last 40+ days), not to mention the easter candies - so i'm expecting a swing up. It's all about the longrun, though!

Supreme 90 - week 2

Well, i was so excited to weigh in this morning... one full week of Supreme 90, doing all the exercises and eating right... and i gained. Yep. What? So frustrating. I think the exercises are great, and i even learned some moves i've never seen before (i have 40 or so videos, and have done classes, so new moves are always a surprise).

Week 1: 149.6 31.1% body fat
Week 2: 150.0, 31.2%

It is TOM and i started taking the pill again, but i was looking forward to a good loss to start the program off right. One week at a time...

    I'm so with you! I haven't tried Supreme 90 (just might get it), but I've been working with Jillian Michaels for awhile and have lost very little weight yet!

    Not to discourage you, but I've read comments of women who exercised hard consistently sometimes as long as three months with little change, and then just started dropping fast. A lot of us will never find out if it's possible because we won't experiment that long!

    It could also be some water retention if you have any sore muscles, or some muscle gain as well. I'm glad you're liking the exercises, I wouldn't worry about a small gain at first, especially as you are doing everything right. Your body will get the message soon!
