Positive Thoughts ONLY

Sunday, February 28, 2010

So, they say the power of positive thoughts will help us be successful. We should only state our intentions in a positive manner and alleviate any negative words or thoughts.

For example, we should say:

"I am successful today" "I love my body, it is healthy and getting healthier"

WRONG because it contains negative words & thoughts:

"I will not give into temptations" "I hate my fat belly & I will not eat the wrong foods"

RIGHT
"I will eat healthy whole food to nurture and feed my healthy body. I am successful in my food choices today"

ESPECIALLY: "I LOVE MY BODY - It is healthy and getting healthier - I love my belly"

Ok, we will see if repeating these mantras will help my brain make the right positive connections to make the right healthy choices.

Peace & Blessings to all stopping by!!

Wish me positive thoughts for success!

Thanks!
Sandee

    Positive thoughts heading your way!

I am also trying to be more positive. I read a big article somewhere on negative self-talk. I write down my daily positive affirmations in my paper journal. They ARE helping.

Sandee, I am so proud of you for jumping right back in!! I too have struggled with the two steps forward and three steps back, but as long as I head forward over and over I know I will get where I am going! YOu can do this!!! Let me know if you need encouragement, a kick in the tush (LOL!!), or anything else. You can do this!!! Keep smiling! You will get there!! Sharon
P.S. I have found that newly gained weight has a tendency to come off a lot easier than the weight I held for years!!

emoticonThis is a gift of SELF LOVE, so use it daily. DO COME BACK.

emoticonHappy New 2010 Year! This begins a new DECADE so let's make this the best of our lives.

Glad to know how you are doing. I'm up 22# from where I had been but getting back on track 1-1-10. I know I can do this, so that is what is important. My Gallbladder surgery really messed me up, but now that the holidays are over, I'm back on program.

This EFT clip on YouTube is so helpful.

Hang in there Sandee... you can do it. Have to distract yourself when you want to eat. Get out and walk around somewhere.... window shop.... even go to the Library to read. I find that if I stay at home and try to distract myself all I do is focus on the food, I have to physically leave the house. Welcome back... I should be starting in a week or so as well so we can do this together! Hang tight!

Wonderful outlook. Yes we can't beat ourselves up even though we do. We have to forgive ourselves and then move on and soon before we know it we will reach our goals.

Agreed! Learn from the past but accept and forgive yourself. It is not the end of the world and shouldn't be an "all or nothing" attitude. Good luck and keep posted! Debbie

1 Cheat in 1 Year :(

Monday, September 07, 2009

Well, I cheated last week and it was a stressful week! My HCG quit working at the end, I started a new job after being off for 8 months, a new semester started and my classes are challenging, I started Phase 3 of my diet protocol, which means adding good fats, dairy, other fruits and veggies back....but I cheated emoticon emoticon emoticon One day I had starches and sugars with dinner....well, with the other poor decisions due to lack of sleep and stress, too many nuts and cheese this past week I've gained 7 lbs!!!

But, this is a new week, I'm limiting the nuts, cheese and counting calories like I'm suppose to, so hopefully I'll get more rest this week and get more into a routine and I will "release" those 7 lbs I gained once more.

So, I blew it and cheated, but I will not let it change the course of my journey!

THIS IS A NEW WEEK!! I feel better, I feel rested and I will make wise decisions this week!! Over 100 lbs in a year....that's not too bad after all!!

emoticon emoticon emoticon

Peace & Blessings!

You will do this. I'm "up" too, since I'm so worried about another severe gallbladder attack. Get it out next month and I know I will feel SO much better after it is gone and I stop this worry. Doctor said it could rupture if I have another attack, so I don't want to deal with that. My brother went to the hospital for his appendix and while on the gruny outside surgery talking to the doctor, his ruptured. He was in the hospital 6 days because of it, and had so much pain. The surgeon said "Well, since it ruptured, I had to clean everything out inside of you and move everything round, so that is why you have had so much more pain than if it hadn't."
Well, not what I want!!
I'll get back down to where I need to be, so I'm not upset about that.

1 cheat in 1 year...... pretty damn good! Hang in there - you are such an inspiration and in this case, you have held yourself accountable. At the same time, you are not letting it bring you down! Again, quite the inspiration.

Great news on the job! Hang in there

I suspect part of that weight is water (secondary to the salt in your food choices).
One step backward, two steps forward.
It's great you are back on track!

103 lbs Lost & Not Cheating!!

Monday, August 24, 2009

WooHoo!! I've lost 103 lbs as of this morning!!

I'm starting to get a little hungrier and fantasizing about food, however, I have a goal to lose 10 more lbs to meet a milestone and I will not give in to temptation. When I stay the course and keep focused on the goal I become successful!!

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I can do it!! I can do it!! I can do it!!

With the system I'm using I can add healthy fats and a better variety of fruits and veggies in 8 days, so I can do it!! I just keep remembering I can have avocados, healthy nuts and olive oil in a few days and it keeps me focused.

I can do it!! I can do it!! I can do it!!

I never thought I could actually get here and lose 103 lbs in one year, but I did it!! so,

I can do it!!! I can do it!! & I DID IT!!! WOO-HOO!!

Good luck to everyone on your journey to health!!

Peace & Blessings!
