TGIF!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, May 27, 2011

YESTERDAY:

An okay day overall, but not particularly good in meeting goals....after our wet return home from our walk, we went to McD's as a treat for a McFlurry.....mmmm!!!!!!!!!!

1. Track emoticon
2. Stay within my recommended calorie range emoticon
3. Get 30 Minutes of exercise - 23 min. slow walk with the family but activity nonetheless! It started to pour while we were at the dog park, so my Dad picked us up and our walk was cut short!
4. DS's first baseball game - reinforce the fun and not pressure him! I honestly think our approach his first 2 years of hockey contributed to his dislike of his participation. He's very excited about baseball and much more skilled so just want him to enjoy it! Game was cancelled unfortunately due to the thunderstorm warning. Disappointing but DS was unhappy which we will take as a good sign that he is really looking forward to it!
5. Do at least one load of laundry! emoticon

And since I didn't do yesterday:

6. Make dental appointments for my kids and I - attempted but as we are switching dentist's we have to go in to sign to have our files moved over. Hubby is going to take care of this today!

TODAY:
1. Track
2. Stay within my recommended calorie range
3. Get 30 Minutes of exercise
4. Cut & Colour!!!!!!!!!!!

TOMORROW:
1. Track
2. Stay within my recommended calorie range
3. Get 30 Minutes of exercise

This week I will:

1. Burn 1500 calories through exercise 508/1500
2. Track 3/7 days (starting small!) 1/5 done
3. Stay within calorie range 3/7 days 0/5 done
4. Get outside with the kids and be active more after dinner! Done Tues/Thurs!

P.S. I moved my ticker this morning - I won't officially weigh-in until Sunday and had intended not to move it, but I am hoping this will help motivate me....

You will get back on track with the tracking. The new food tracker does make it easier in many ways. Every day your post that as a goal, you are closer to meeting it as a goal.

PROGRESS THIS WEEK

Wednesday, May 25, 2011

YESTERDAY:

1. Track emoticon
2. Stay within my recommended calorie range emoticon
3. Get 30 minutes of exercise emoticon
4. Drop off donations to Value Village emoticon
5. Do returns I need to - Walmart, PetSmart, Winners emoticon

Overall it was a good day yesterday and scale shows progress today, likely due to good water intake and reduced bloat! After dinner as a family we went for a walk - kids biked/scootered and we took dog also. 1.5 km and a stop at the park. Was nice to be active with the kids while spending some time together! Downfall was TV snacking....while watching Biggest Loser finale/Oprah BUT having tracked everything I was glad to have accomplished something. Will hopefully reduce intake today!

TODAY:

1. Track
2. Stay within my recommended calorie range
3. Get 30 Minutes of exercise
4. Get my application in for a job posting at work I am interested in
5. Make dental appointments for my kids and I

Planning to get a walk in over lunch - maybe a bit of jogging but we'll see.....

TOMORROW:

1. Track

3. Get 30 Minutes of exercise
4. DS's first baseball game - reinforce the fun and not pressure him! I honestly think our approach his first 2 years of hockey contributed to his dislike of his participation. He's very excited about baseball and much more skilled so just want him to enjoy it!
5. Do at least one load of laundry!

This week I will:

1. Burn 1500 calories through exercise 177/1500

4. Get outside with the kids and be active more after dinner! Done yesterday, emoticon DD has dance tonight and it's bath night for the kids so won't likely get out tonight, but we'll see if we can't maybe sneak in a short walk together, maybe to the dog park!

I've overeaten while watching The Biggest Loser too!!! I'm sure we aren't the only ones. I was really impressed with the at home winner...she virtually did it all on her own because she left the show pretty early in the season. I'm happy for her.

We spent some time talking with our friends about a vacation next year and most interest is in a Disney cruise. FUN TIMES!   It is hard to get back on track. You can do it.!
A Disney cruise...........that would be great. That is the only cruise my sister has decided that she will go on.She went with her grandchildren and loved it almost as much as the kids did.
Take one day at a time and work on it.You do have good plans and you have stuck to them before and you can do it now.
emoticon(how many sleeps until a cruise?)

QUICK UP-DATE

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

Things have been super busy for me lately. Last week was crazy at work and then the weekend flew by and then I was in Toronto Monday/Tuesday...Back to work today and the rest of the week will be busy. Yay for another long weekend though! emoticon

Toronto was great! Lots of retail therapy! Sister time and some friend time thrown in also as met my plan (MRKTGCHICK) for lunch on Monday at the Eaton Centre. Was seriously a much needed get-away!

I got off track in terms of tracking/goals etc...but started tracking again today. Today is about getting back to that! Last week's goals are done...I got close to meeting my calorie burn but no all the way (though not everything was tracked). The rest of this week is about getting back to consistency with tracking. We have company this weekend (MRKTGCHICK and her family) but I am committed to having lots of good choices in the house and even trying to get some exercise in (if it's clear want to get at least one walk in with the dog!).

Goals for today:
1. Track, even if I go over calorie target.
2. No after dinner snacking, unless I have calories "left".
3. Get all my water in - min. of 8 servings!!

emoticon
