Easter week end is hard on keeping in line with the calorie count.I really tried as well and it hard to do.But drinking the water will help and if we get moving today it may work those calories out of our system..........well it might help emoticon

WEEK OF APRIL 24th

Sunday, April 24, 2011

Well, last week did not go very well in terms of meeting personal goals...went on an overnight with the kids Friday until yesterday and did not track while gone, but I am okay with that. I am much better with tracking overall than I had been and much more active. Aiming to meet goals better this week. I actually forgot to weigh in this morning before I ate so no reporting today about that or changing my ticker.

Here are goals for this week:

1. Burn 2000 calories through exercise.
2. Track 5 out of 7 days accurately and honestly.
3. 2L water minimum every day!
4. Stay within calorie range 5 out of 7 days.
5. Run 3 times.

(Similar goals from last week...)

Today I WILL:

1. Get 30 minutes of exercise in.
2. Track my food as well as possible (albeit Easter dinner at the in-laws may make this more challenging!)
3. Stay as close to my calorie target as possible.
4. Drink at least 2L of water.

Just four goals today, it is Easter afterall! emoticon Going to keep calories low through the day in anticipation of yummy dinner....mmmm....stuffing! emoticon

WEEK OF APRIL 17TH - DAY #5

Thursday, April 21, 2011

So the past few days have not been good in terms of food choices/exercise. Lots of contributing reasons though ultimately I am still responsible. Lots going on at work, lots of stress, house pulled apart because of reno's etc.... Back on track today! Still time to "salvage" the week by at least maintaining.

Today:
--------
1. Track, track, track!
2. Stay within calorie range
3. 30 min, exercise
4. Groceries!
5. No iced caps/fraps

Tomorrow:
---------------
1. Track, track, track!
2. Stay within calorie range
3. 30 min, exercise
4. Enjoy a day of friends with the kids!
5. No iced caps/fraps

Goals for the week:
--------------------------

1. Track 5/7 days 1/4
2. Burn 2000 calories through exercise 706/2000
3. Run 3 times 1/3
4. Limit lunch take-out to once during work week
5. Stay within calorie range 5/7 days 0/4

Not doing so well meeting goals for this week, but will keep plodding along and accomplish what I can...

Reno's make cooking good meals really hard. Just think of all the calories you are expending doing the reno work!

WEEK OF APRIL 17TH, DAY#3

Tuesday, April 19, 2011

YESTERDAY:
---------
1. Track, track, track!
2. Stay within calorie range
3. 30 min, exercise
4. Take lunch to work emoticon
5. Play board game with kids after dinner

Well....yesterday was not a particularly good day in terms of meeting goals....I was tracking until after dinner and then got really hungry. Yes, I know I should/could have tracked anyway, but I didn't and will move on. I was definately over my calories! On a positive note, although I had forgotten to grab my lunch on the rush out the door, I ended up stopping in at the deli after a morning meeting and made myself a sandwich/had spinach salad which was basically like bringing my lunch. We didn't play a board game BUT each of the kids did some reading with me, so still 1:1 quality time which was the goal! DH worked on some of the tiling in the front hallway and will continue on today. I will be soooo glad when our current reno's are done!

TODAY:
----------
1. Track, track, track!
2. Stay within calorie range
3. 30 min, exercise (already done with 51 min. walk/jog this morning before work with the dog!) emoticon
4. Take lunch to work emoticon
5. No iced caps/fraps

My plan for today is to faithfully track...and stay within calories as closely as possible. Tonight I am aiming to work on a work report while watching a bit of TV as this will keep my hands away from the snacks!

Tomorrow:
---------------
1. Track, track, track!
2. Stay within calorie range
3. 30 min, exercise
4. Take lunch to work
5. No iced caps/fraps

Goals for the week:
--------------------------

1. Track 5/7 days 1/7
2. Burn 2000 calories through exercise 706/2000
3. Run 3 times 1/3
4. Limit lunch take-out to once during work week
5. Stay within calorie range 5/7 days 0/2

I had a hungry day yesterday too, especially after lunch... maybe it's the weather?

You'll do much better on your goals today. You're already off to a great start!
