Back on the Wii this morning, 35 minutes of exercise and down a pound on the Wii. I need to do some fitness work when I get home and since today is my long day, this will be my challenge.
Did well with the Superbowl last night, but in order to get my sleep and to get up and exercise, I went to bed before seeing the Saints win. I didn't have a team in this game, but enjoyed what I saw.
Cauliflower soup for lunch and a plan for dinner. Maybe Monday isn't so manic.

Her 5th/6th grade class performed MidSummer's Night Dream last night - it was so wonderful. I loved seeing the kids all performing and proud of themselves, behaving well and being so positive. Such a tough age and this is a great age to inspire them to do well. Some of them are real hams too, maybe future actors and actresses.
Of course, food not the best, rice, beans and tomato sauce in the microwave, with some cheese, but wait for it.... ice cream. Better than what I was thinking which was to pick up something from the sub shop.

While I am feeling like a baby, I am plugging along, sneezing as quietly as possible in my office and being so thankful I have an office with a door I can shut.
Last night, I was set to grill some chicken when I opened the package it didn't smell quite right. Agonized for a while about whether it was really bad or not -- when in doubt -- tossed. I was glad to see the ground turkey in the freezer and made tacos, I have mine on brown rice and black beans, so it was fine for me. DH thought it was not up to my usual standards until I asked him how he liked the ground turkey instead of the ground beef - he doesn't so much but he has signed on to the Low GI way of eating so he is trying lots of new things.

Didn't realize I have been away almost a year. Of course, I have not lost any weight and in fact, may have gained some.
We are the proud owners of a Wii now, and with the 11 YO, I am trying to keep up with her fitness minutes, hopeless I think, but I won't quit.

I am feeling better and am at the office and playing catch up with the work that is left. It isn't too bad though as I have great co workers who have picked up the slack while I was out.
I found out my health insurance will pay most of a weightwatcher membership so I am thinking about going back to meetings. That might be something useful for the weekly check in.
