When I have been lacking in motivation this week I just log on to facebook and check out the spark people page. On Monday I commented on one of the facebook posts that this week I would walk to work every day.
Every morning regardless of how I am feeling I have walked an hour and a half to work, I have got my 10,000 steps out of the way straight away and for the rest of the day I have been eating well and drinking water. Well I don't want to waste the effort I put into my walk - that would be cheating myself.
I have lost more than a KG this week and I have 2.2KG to loose until I can buy my laptop for university. The money is sitting in the savings account and my partner keeps showing me clips of what I games I can play on my laptop. Yes I admit it I am a huge Sims geek, I have it for the PS3 but it doesnt work on the old laptop, we are going to make sure that it does on my new laptop.
What could motivate me more than the Sims 3???? Why didn't I think of this as a motivation a year ago? All that pizza, chocolate, cake and wine I consumed whilst trying to loose weight would have been in moderation instead of falling of the rails.
Oh well never mind, lets keep going, we can do this!!!
So I am off for my walk again, this time a friend is joining me, work colleagues are now eating salads and yesterday we brought in fruit instead of chocolates for our friday meeting. Wow! This walk really does put me in healthy mindset and what an effect on others it has!
I will not fail this time!!
