I wasn't last or next to last (although I was convinced I was)
I got the pictures from the race yesterday.
Aaaaand I managed to gain the usual 4lbs afterwards that I'm just about done getting rid of.
Okay, I am perfectly aware that I should be happy that my body and my will managed to get me to the finish line.
I was rocking the first part of the race and (like always) I hit a wall the size of Everest at about 9 miles. I really need to work on that.
And now that I managed, through following my plan to the letter, I almost managed to get back to the weight before the 1/2 marathon.....my friend wants to go to Claim Jumpers for her birthday tonight.
Have you **seen** their nutrition stats??? Yiiiiiikes!!!!
Even the healthy sounding salads are outrageous. I will be ordering veeery carefully tonight.
Thankfully a bunch of us are going to the zoo tomorrow to walk around and see if anyone will let us pet the animals...
A sandwich place near where I work has a paper to fill out for your sandwich during lunch rush.
I always leave mayo and mustard blank. Enough tomatoes and cucumbers and I don't need it.
And yet they ask me every time I'm standing near, "Are you *sure* you don't want mayo??"
Today I went to grab a drink and my sandwich was done when I got back. Headed back to work to find out that they put mayo on it.
Easier to eat it than to go back so, like a good Sparker, I entered it into my tracker.
Holy $hit! I had forgotten why I don't eat mayo anymore.
But ooooooh it tasted yummy.
Will have to make sure to actually go swimming tonight....
